The worse cup of coffee I've had in a long time, need to focus more on the type of coffee served and less on the pretentious decor

This was my first time here and I was very disappointed in the service and quality of the food at this Cafe.
My Latte was terribly made, the espresso shot was not dialled in at all and was incredibly sour. Seriously, a Nespresso could pull a better espresso shot.
Prices at the cafe were higher than on their website. The prices in general were high and did not meet the quality of a fast food restaurant.
Menu options such as the omelette were unavailable with no indication they would be coming back, despite still being advertised (at the incorrect price) on the website.
Staff mentioned ingredients in other food item that were in fact not in that specific item. For example, the parfait bowl was supposed to have blackberries, strawberries, etc but only had a few blueberries and some cheap toppings. The yogurt was the cheapest possible sweet vanilla from Sobeys, etc. Much better parfaits from Superstore or Sobeys
Food overall was of poor quality. The staff seemed disinterested at best and borderline rude at worst.
Stay away and go anywhere else. There are plenty of other cafes that are within walking distance that will yield a much better experience at a lower cost.

I used to really like this place, but lately the coffeeâs been all over the place. Some days itâs greatâbeautifully made with care. Other days, like today, it feels like theyâve just given up. I said I was staying in, but they still poured the coffee into a paper cup, no latte art, no effort. When I asked about it, they just said, âDo you want me to pour it in a cup?â It felt⊠off.
If I could see their staff schedule, Iâd honestly just come when the good barista is working. Todayâs experience was a 1-star, but Iâm giving it a 3 because Iâve had genuinely good coffee here before.
Whatâs disappointing is this used to be one of the few spots on the waterfront that didnât feel like a tourist trap. Now it feels like theyâre getting too comfortableâlike they know tourists will come anyway, so it doesnât matter if the quality slips. That part kind of stings.

Fantastic coffee and experience however ... I had to wait for my oat ball longer than expected. I will grant my forgiveness because my sister had a lovely quesedilla and a lemonade.

Really cute cafe with nice staff and delicious food and drink. Only complaint is that the prices seem a bit much, but itâs not a huge deal.

This place is really nice and the staff were very friendly. The decor makes it feel cozy and well air conditioned. Though the clubhouse wasnât really worth it for the wait especially for a to go order; other people who ordered a while after us seemed to get priority. I understand when a kitchen is short staffed however it just wasnât a new favourite.

A great little cafe in Bishops Landing complex. Great patio to relax for a few minutes and is a few steps removed from the busier part of the Halifax waterfront. Bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus in a high traffic/touristy area. I suspect it gets busy when there are cruise ships in but it was calm early in the morning for our visit. Outdoor patio has propane heaters for the chilly days but is also enclosed somewhat from the weather to help keep you dry.

This coffee shop is really cute. I love the decoration and ambiance of this place. I ordered a burrito breakfast (eggs and veggies with chipotle sauce), it was really good. I had a matcha latte, but honestly, I didnât like it. If you are really into matcha I would suggest the iced Chai latte, that one was 10/10, so delicious. I also had a scrumptious berry muffin and energy ball (PB and oat.

Lovely place to get food and drink. They have amazing hot chocolate and chai latte. If you like your chai latte sweeter like I do ask for simple syrup or something in it. For food the bagels are delicious I would I definitely recommend
