I had a wonderful jamon and queso empanada for a late lunch which I devoured too quickly. The owner was very helpful to a starving confused person. My darling spouse, after my raving, returned and picked up several to bring home with us to share with family, and enjoyed his conversation with the owners. This place is so magically delicious and serves a fresh from scratch empanada that just warms your soul! The family who owns it is also so kind and I will make sure I come back every time I visit Halifax! This is the perfect balance of filling and lite lunch to fuel you as you walk the downtown would 110% recommend!
