In a city devoid of fine or unrefined dining of any kind, a ray of sunshine. Great food, great service, great prices. Their empanadas are baked, not deep fried, delicious. Their deserts are, in a word, fantastic. Thank you, Empanada Shop!!!

I had a wonderful jamon and queso empanada for a late lunch which I devoured too quickly. The owner was very helpful to a starving confused person. My darling spouse, after my raving, returned and picked up several to bring home with us to share with family, and enjoyed his conversation with the owners. All the ones we tried were delicious (pollo is my new favourite) and we will definitely come again on our next trip to Halifax. Tell your family and friends to try them. We are glad we did!

Great little empanada place I stumbled upon near the water in Halifax. Empanadas are delicious and owners were super friendly. I may be back before the end of my trip for more 😅
The owners of this shop are very kind, and took the time to explain the differences in empanadas to me. I have had argentine empanadas before but never Chilean. I was very pleased to find that there was a large quantity of tasty beef and chicken in the two I ordered, complete with salsa criolla and chimichurri. The owner even provided me with instructions for heating them in the oven at home, as I wanted to eat them later. Thanks again!
