Best dive bar in Halifax! Fun atmosphere with great specials almost every night of the week. Karaoke in the back to add to your fun evening out. Go in! You might just get hooked! ?

Do not be misled by the basic decor. It may lack a little in outward charm but it makes up for it in very good food and service and a nice array of craft beers! The burgers and nachos are particularly tasty. It's a great place to stop after a walk through the public gardens or after an evening show at the movie theater.

This place has really gone down hill the last 6 months...the music they play is intolerable. And its impossible to get the (new) bartenders attention for another drink.
Food was delicious, and the beer was great. First server was fast, and friendly. Immediately upon shift turnover we were ignored by the new server. I'd say we were missed, but he looked at us several times and never made a move to the table so I am left assuming it was intentional.

Kind of a hidden little place on spring garden road. Seems like the type of place to go to if your looking for cheap drinks or vlts. Food was decent, very well priced for the portions. Bartender was really friendly, on top of refills of water, quick with service/food. Only thing I didn't like was the chicken fingers. They tasted processed. And the scratched up tables/graffiti in the bathroom but they could be the look they're going for. Everything else was good tho.

So I am wandering around Spring Garden Road on a vacation out in Halifax. Plenty of reviews are on this place, but I ask around on the street "What would be a cool local bar to go to?". I wanted to not be in a tourist area, and wanted more of a local feel :). Someone pointed me out to the Fickle Frog. Cool. I walk to it and in.

Traveled around everywhere for work and ribs and sweet potato fries are my go to but these were hands down the best, most tender, ribs ive ever had period. If u could rate this place higher then 5/5 I would,will definitely be back
