We came to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and man oh man, was it ever amazing. From the service to the food, everything was incredible. Thoughtful combinations of flavours (raspberry and oysters!? Who knew) and the staff really went out of their way to make us feel special. Laura, you are a GEM, I wish we could've stayed all night. Thanks sooooo much for everything

We had a fantastic time out celebrating Amanda's birthday. The service was amazing from hosts to server down to the extra servers and managers helping clean up up and check in on us. The duck was great, and I'm told the crab cakes and Caesar salad were awesome too! Three others said they all loved their seafood dish and made note that maybe they were missing just a little something, salt, pepper not sure. But they truly loved it too. The little things like the dessert and spending more time explaining some dishes / wines were a huge help and we appreciate everything. We will certainly be back!

All of our dishes and gin/elderflower cocktail were superb. Laffy (sp?), our server, was delightful. We had a pleasingly private table with a nice view of the street and St. Paul's. A very fitting end to our highly enjoyable vacation in the Maritimes!

Amazing food, friendly staff! We dined with two rambunctious toddler. Although the staff were very patient and kind I wouldn't not recommend this for a family outing with toddlers. The ambiance is amazing and it would have been nice to enjoy it without screaming kids.

The decor is beautiful and romantic, with an ambiance that lends itself to conversation. The service is extremely friendly but not as streamlined in delivery or clearance. The friendly welcoming atmosphere almost completely makes up for any misses. Food was nearly perfect with only a few missed items that could come down to taste or preference. Overall the dishes that were recommended were outstanding, in particular the salad that was paired with the duck was complex and multilayered, a delicious accompaniment that was unexpected. The pecan dessert was otherworldly while the strawberry cheesecake bites were a bit dry and heavy on the crust while the inside was perfect.

An outstanding evening. The staff were all attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, especially the Frutti de Mare. Would highly recommend. The only negative was volume of the music. I find too many bars, coffee shops and restaurants have loud music which makes conversation difficult. In a lively place it's not necessary or just as background not overwhelming.

I had the halibut and found the flavour very bland, even with the Parmesan cheese sauce. It was like it was boiled. Asparagus was uncooked. Should have picked the steamed lobster.

Can highly recommend . The 5 fish was superb. The lobster came pre-cracked and was sweet and succulent. Nice ambiance you could dress or come as you are. Mary was a wonderful server.

My husband and I are in Halifax to visit our two beautiful granddaughters. We could not have picked a better place than The Five Fisherman. The food was phenomenal but our server, Anthony was the best. He was a complete delight and very attentive. Five Fishermen gets five stars.
