What a great place/ 100% oriented on service. Laura was the best ? I usually don't like eating alone but this actually felt like I wasn't alone. Food is excellent, definitely will go back for those scallops often!

So impressed by this restaurant! The interior design created a wonderful ambiance, the space was much bigger than expected. The servers were very on point and kind. The food was spectacular with a stacked menu that makes me want to come back for more.Vegetarian options: Ask for the vegetarian menu!

Probably the best meal I've ever eaten. My wife and I came to Halifax for our honeymoon and have never experienced better food and hospitality than The Five Fishermen. The building has a rich history, the service is so friendly and the food is next level. Treat yourself to dinner here!

I’ve never posted any reviews on the Internet about any restaurants however, I felt I had to do it for this one. The food was really good atmosphere excellent what really make a big difference for me today was the service it was impeccable. We were celebrating in milestone our server went over and above everyone working there, so professional. This place has been there forever has a super great reputation. Today was extra special because at the end of the Dinner my wife had tears in her eyes for what her server had done for us thank you very much. We really appreciate it. We are not from the area but for now on when we come, this is going to be our go to place.Sylvain

Thank for the Feb dine around event, 5 fisherman has a $50 for 3course menu.It is good to have friends to come with you as the choices are not much (recommend the even number).We also order extra 3 more appetisers, and i wanna to say all of them are good, especially the soup!!!The main course under the the dine around menu is not bad. However the seafood dish is pretty small for us.Lastly the dessert are great! But personlly i think they are too sweet while my gf thinks they are prefect! ?PS: Their cocktails are good as well! Try the one “why so serious” ?

It was truly outstanding! We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and she received a complimentary dessert with a candle. The service from the staff was exceptional; they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

We had the best experience. Our wait person was fabulous and took incredible care of us. She was so professional and so kind. It was a special occasion for us and she could not have served us any better. Everything was perfect! This is a truly wonderful restaurant.

We so enjoyed the thoughtful playlist , it complements the ambiance your restaurant, encouraged great conversation and allowed us to appreciate the talents of your wonderful kitchen. The appetizer selection - excellent! The main courses - delectable!! In short, our meals were memorable. Your chef has taken time to explore fresh ingredients, interesting tapestry of flavor, texture and lovely presentation. Dessert too are a treat. We had both a small plate selection and the three current menu offerings. The passion fruit square - a lovely surprise for sure. Thank you to our delightful waitress, Mevish Her skill and that of your kitchen is to be commended. We look forward to our next dinning experience with you. Many thanks.
