The garden setting was absolutely stunning! Sandip, our server, truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Combined with the fantastic atmosphere and exceptional food, it was an unforgettable outing. We'll definitely be returning—five stars all the way!

Absolutely disgusting. What you see in this picture is multiple pieces of hair inside of a piece of chicken that was inside their club sandwich that I got in a delivery order...which yes I found out while eating it. Disgusting. Tried to call them about it and nobody answered the phone. What a first order

The renovations in here have really transformed the place all while keeping its majestic and ethereal charm!

The espresso martinis were excellent (one of the best in Halifax!) and our server, Victoria was so mindful, demure, and cutesy!!

Will be coming back regularly (if they’ll have me)!!

First time eating at this spot on Queen St and it was great. We had the nachos and wings for lunch and both were delicious. Service was fast and welcoming and the overall vibe was nice and relaxed. Great decor and atmosphere. We'll be back!

The servers were not pleasant and we waited a very long time before anyone took our order. After 20 minutes waiting for our drinks, a staff member came over to ask us if we could move tables to accommodate for a larger party. We offered to just leave, as we had been already been there for over half an hour without receiving anything. Staff was not apologetic. Overall very inexperienced servers, long wait times, high prices. The atmosphere is nice but it is not worth the terrible experience.

Overall good, but they need experienced servers; basic things collecting menu after order, collecting empty plates, asking if everything is good or not, asking the desert whether we want or not. The location and atmosphere are nice but service is very important to make us happy and we were not.

A family run fish and chips place where they care about the quality of the food.

Love the decorations, best clam chowder I've ever had! The waiter was very kind and replaced a spilled drink free of charge.

Very disappointed in our brunch. I ordered the waffles which was supposed to have eggs , bacon and some kind of hot sauce. I asked for no bacon as I don't eat pork. Of course it came with bacon on it; when I pointed that out the server apologized and returned thirty seconds later without the bacon on top The eggs were not medium poached but overcooked (I'm not sure why they ask how you like your eggs cooked then), the waffle was soggy and not crunchy and the sauce on the egg was just a drizzle of Sriracha. The coffee was not good and my mug was filthy. The most underwhelming breakfast/brunch I have had in Halifax; which is disappointing as I have been here a couple of times in the past about a year or two ago and the brunch was great. Will definitely never go back as all three of us did not enjoy our food! The only thing they have going is the ambience and even that has gone down a lot since they've opened. Waste of money, I would recommend you spend it at one of the many other lovely brunch places in Halifax.

For your own safety, avoid this place at all costs.I ordered the chicken kebab and ate four pieces of it before I noticed that the inside was completely raw, I then had a terrible case of food poisoning the next day. Our waitress was great, apologetic, and offered to comp the entire bill. The chef made no effort to come out and apologize for the situation face-to-face and my partner unfortunately heard him joking about the situation in the back with other staff members when they went to the bathroom before leaving. While it’s understandable mistakes happen - not owning the mistake and the chef not even bothering to come acknowledge their mistake, or remake the dish was extremely disappointing.Would absolutely not recommend.

Beautiful spot with wonderful food. We look forward to returning again.Update: I finally returned, and my experience was the complete opposite. The service was good and the meals came out as quick as I would expect for a larger party, but that was it for the positives. I ordered the vegan huevos rancheros, and added an egg and it was the most disappointing dish I've had at a restaurant recently. The tofu wasn't seasoned, the 'flame grilled corn' tasted like it was just defrosted, the guacamole tasted like the stuff you get at superstore, the eggs were overcooked, and the potatoes were undercooked. It was also missing the roasted red pepper and the scallions. How does this even resemble huevos rancheros? No black beans, no salsa/pico/tomatoes based sauce, no tortillas, no hot sauce. It was just a weird dish. The others around me also complained of their dishes, specifically the avocado toast which seemed to be served on Dempster-style bread, not the sourdough the menu stated.I also ordered a coffee, which was great, but the milk on the side was served in a small cup that was also clearly used for espresso shots. At first I didn't think anything of it, and assumed it was stained, but after a moment my milk turned brown. I wiped the edge and my finger easily removed the coffee residue. It was clearly just dirty and hadn't been cleaned between uses.In the end the server exchanged the meal for a croissant, which was great, but after talking this place up all week I was really, really disappointed.
