Friendly service and great selection. You’ll become addicted to the pies :) love the great British shop!
Ordered 4 Christmas dinners for pick up on Christmas Eve. When opened at home, there were no roast potatoes, pigs in a blanket or stuffing balls. All because the foils the store received were the wrong size. I contacted them late on Christmas Eve night and they very happily dropped off the missing items on Christmas morning along with extra trifles and milk, etc. Plus, they were extremely happy to do so. What could have been a disaster, they salvaged and were so pleasant and obliging to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you. If you have a problem, message them in person as they will happily try to fix any problem you have ❤️
Stopped by today, you guys are amazing, helpful and friendly. Love seeing genuine British products and baked goods, like sausage rolls, and pork pies (I like to eat them the traditional way, cold or room temp, the ones that are cooking them for another 45mins are missing out!). Love my galaxy and cadburys chocolate…I can’t eat any of the American stuff, I prefer the true British cadburys, and it’s all cheaper than grocery store chocolate too, win win ☺️🇬🇧
Such friendly helpful staff and delicious fresh pies and pastries. a definite favorite!
Stopped in yesterday while visiting Halifax, the kids were very excited for a sausage roll ( missing home). The store was very disappointing unless you want biscuits very little else on the shelves. The sausage rolls were cold and stale - I suspect they had been frozen first. Pastry was dense and dry, the very little pork meat was bland with no seasoning. Husband got a scotch egg after one bite he put it in the bin - with the rolls - saying it was a mushy texture and no flavour.
A great place to shop for all things British. Love their scones, pastries and warm sausage rolls. They have a wonderful variety of frozen items and their meat pies are delicious. Always a great experience when I stop in.
Great spot for British treats and specialty items. Wish they had empire biscuits but the potato scones make up for it.
So bloody good. I heard through the grapevine you made sausage savouries for DNR and they were amazing, please make these a regular item, I love the bacon ones. Bravo keep up the amazing work team
Such a great place! If your British your going to love it there. They have everything from black pudding to shortbread. Staff are super friendly and helpful. My only problem was trying not to spend too much!
Great products, friendly and funny staff and the best social media posts ever :) Their meat pies and pasties are delicious and addictive. I also have a bit of a problem with their baked sweet treats, especially the bakewell tarts.

Every time I've visited the service, and products, have been incredible!
Only problem is that availability of Scottish black pudding is sporadic and kippers have not been available for ages. The staff however are great.
Being Irish it’s being hard to find good food and snacks from back home, but this place hits the nail on the head everytime. All the snacks and goodies you need for chocolate to chips to drinks to pastries they got you covered. The pies are to die for and the sausage tools are the closest I’ve tasted to being like back home and are delicious.always try to get in when I’m in the neighborhood, staff are amazing and friendly ,love this place
We're so happy to have found this store. The store carries a lot excellent pantry items. The baked goods, muffins, tarts, pasties, veggie pies, meat pies, etc., are stellar. They are made in store and everything we got was fabulous. The very nice, Scottish young man who helped us was delightful.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. The meat pies and pasties are outstanding! One of my favourite imported grocery shops in Halifax!
