Before Christmas I purchased two of the steak & potato pies (the small individual size). I tried the first and was very disappointed, but figured it could have been an "off" day for production. The second was no better, Essentially it was a small pie shell filled with mashed potato without any kind of seasoning, and each pie had 3 hard chunks of what appeared to be an inexpensive cut of roast beef, stringy, tough and flavourless.
An unfortunate experience. I'm not going back for more.

The display cabinets were in disarray and the server must not have had a good day as it appeared as though she was reluctant to serve you and in fact doing you a favor, not an experience I will be repeating

Awesome meat pies!!! So DELICIOUS ?!!!! My husband an I had the Beef and gravy pies and , so tasty!!!!! WONDERFUL PASTRY!!!!! I am so glad they are sold at Dave's Fruit and Veg. Shop. $7.29. Good price.

AMAZING food!! The closest to Scotland cooking you can get. They have a great variety of items, but ya gotta get there fast on restock days. They are so friendly and sweet in there and they are more then happy to help you get the items you're looking for from across the pond

I absolutely LOVE the Great British Shop. It feels like a little piece of home in Nova Scotia, because I lived in London U.K for about 12 years. It is lovely to see my favourite treats on the shelves. There is so much variety! There is nothing as comforting as a good British pie. And my favorite dessert is the millionaires pie. Whenever I miss London I pop into the store next door to where I work, even just to hear the English accent.

Friendly staff, easy to find things, and the baked goods are really good. I don't go often, because it can be a bit pricey and I myself just don't have the income for regular visits. But I always try to go when I'm able.
