We had our wedding here and we cannot say enough good things. Laura was so easy to work with and worked hard to get all the details just right. The day of the wedding we were put in the hands of Larissa and Stephanie and they were amazing! Really all of the staff members were lovely and worked so hard to make our day feel extra special. We had our ceremony and reception here and everything ran like clockwork. The venue is cozy and full of charm and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding!!

Trying to have a nice meal with the family and security was charging $15 cover at 6:30 when the band didn't start until 9. Also turned some of the party away because they wouldn't accept ID from another province and wouldn't explain why. Went to Baton Rouge across the street who were happy to take us and provided excellent service. Would recommend going there instead

I am from Alberta and decided to go into lower deck with my dad mind you. I provided ID and was asked to provide a second piece. I offered a student card or a credit card (pretty typical) and a photo of my passport and birth certificate. All of these were denied and I was instead asked to provide my instagram. Which was completely inappropriate.
I hope that this place better trains staff on what VALID FORMS OF CANADIAN ID look like! I understand asking for a second piece however it is highly unprofessional, uncomfortable and frankly creepy to ask for instagram(which is not a government form of ID believe it or not).
We left after this. I won’t recommend this is anyone.
If you are a tourist under 25 bring your business elsewhere. There’s tons of other better places :)

Required 2 pieces of government ID. Didn’t have my passport on me, cause who walks around with their passport, only my drivers license and a photo of my passport ( not good enough ) so they asked for my Instagram? Cause that government ID 🙄 nah. I am good. They were rude, dismissive and hostile.

Charming establishment. Lots of character. Service and food were excellent. Was there for a private wedding. The only thing that was less than ideal was the lack of air conditioning. Overall a great spot. I couldn't help but notice how hard some of the employees worked. Lovely spot, well done !
Great old style underground bar with a great ambience! Their nachos are spectacular!! I'd imagine its a good place for after party eats and drinks with live music, definitely recommend.

The venue is great, but the bouncers are a little intense. They ask everyone for two forms of ID which I’ve never seen at any other bar in the world. Later, I was asked to leave after staff thought I was sick (I have been on some meds recently), even though I hadn’t actually thrown up. I felt embarrassed, although I understand they have rules to follow. Just wanted to share my experience for others to be aware. They did offer to let me back in later, but then a different bouncer harassed me about my review so that was kinda weird.

Went for a late lunch today and sat on the patio. Service was below par especially having to wait undue length of time to get a second round of drinks and then over a twenty minute wait for the bill once requested. I can recall when this used to be an A+ place with great service.
