We purchased their take and bake and was a little skeptical but was so wrong. These were delicious. I have placed an order for more.

I decided to write long review but I cannot express myself that much. Best bakery around the city and they have extraordinary delicious croissant and handpie.

Cozy little nook we discovered when looking for a place to grab a coffee to go. Looking forward to going back for a sit down cuppa and snack.

Amazing shop, staff are always friendly, coffee is good, hot and served with a smile, the treats...OMG the treats...baked goods and pastries galore, each better tasting than the one before. If you're on a diet, go here anyways...save your cheat day. Make a new cheat day. Just cheat and go here anyways! You wont be disappointed, the only way to describe it, is for you to picture the image of Homer from the Simpsons, having a drool-gasm while fantasizing about a doughnut... I never got that concept, then I had delights from here.

Best coffee and cookies in downtown Halifax! And the barista working today is super friendly (she’s my fave that works there). Always has a kind disposition and is very efficient and can multitask.

Visited their new location in Brewery Market recently. The decor was funky and relaxed and although the selection was small, the pastries were unbelievable! Service was friendly too. Looking forward to going again soon.

The old apothecary provided the most beautiful cake for my parents 50th anniversary during Covid. We really appreciated they’re thoughtfulness and help in making the day special!

Lovely Cafe with a variety of dirnk and bakery options. I tried the vanilla latte and was perfect. Their bakeries were delicious too. I loved the atmosphere of the place.

I wish I could break down my review. The food and drinks are by far amazing and a 5/5. But. We have ordered cakes from there a few times. The first time the top tier of the cake slid and the cake was off.. so I fixed it myself but the cake didn't stay together. Not a big deal it still tastes amazing.. it just didn't look great.

This was our first visit to TOA since its move from Barrington Street to the Kieth's Brewery Market. As stated in the title, the products remain the same excellent quality. The new location is more spacious and has a nice ambience. Parking remains a problem, however, you have the option of using a parking lot across the street.

A nice cozy bakery and cafe in downtown. The coffee is good. Try the hand pie, I am sure the pie will taste much better if it is warm.
