What an amazing night! The small plates are thoughtfully executed and bursting with flavour and texture. Everything we had was 10/10.
The themed cocktail menu is unique and creative and they were well balanced and complex.
The wine list, we learned is curated with wines that are exclusive to the restaurant and imported by their sommelier. Bonus, we were there on a Wednesday and all bottles were $20 off. We had never had a wine from Czech Republic before!
Can’t wait for our next visit.

perhaps it was an off night because the rest of the reviews are good. if you're looking for a bottle of wine that is under $80-$100 the bottle head somewhere else, not sure why they think they can charge more than most places on the waterfront for drinks

Absolute best food we had in Halifax. We were with a small group and ordered most of the dishes off the menu and some twice because we couldn’t get enough of it. Wine and cocktails were really good too. atmosphere was really fun and an unexpectedly great playlist. The Chef was unreal and worth coming back for!

This is a great restaurant in a historic building, renovated beautifully. The food was great (especially the Peas with Snow Crab and the Scampi Dumplings stood out). The wine list is fantastic and the owner was so friendly and engaging. Highly recommend it.

Friendly, efficient service. Pretty decor. Good music. Got the tuna crudo, the BBQ chicken (boneless), and the tortelloni, and everything was delicious and well presented. had three excellent cocktails off their Mean Girls menu, the On Wednesdays we wear pink, the Get in Loser, and a boozy October 3rd. All well balanced.

Food and cocktail are just next level. You won't be getting the same old thing here. Menu and drinks change monthly and there is an excellent selection of non-alcoholic cocktails

Always outstanding, the Ostrich Club has levelled up with a new chef focusing on hyper seasonal, hyper local dishes — everything we ate was plate-lickingly good. The cocktail program is also phenomenal, and love the inclusion of creative no ABV options that don't feel like an afterthought!

Just walked into this restaurant to make a booking for this evening. Was told I needed to do exclusively on Open Table, the woman I dealt with refused to help me. Locked the door behind me as I was leaving. So I walked to a nearby restaurant and made a reservation in person. Took my business elsewhere. So when you read about restaurants failing, wanting you to order with a QR code, tip generously, etc. first order of business is you have to put customers in seats. Exhibit A on how not to do that...will look forward to reading about the restaurant closing.
