Bartender was great spoke to us about other bars we should try and told us about the pub and it's history. Did not eat at this spot menu had decent pub fare. Beer was cold. Only complaint was the bathrooms had a musty smell and needed some attention. I would guess standard for a pub this age though.

Great place to kill time before going to the concert! 2 girls were nice enough to give us the table of 4 and took the 2 seater instead .Place was packed due to super cheap draft lol Everyone enjoyed their food but gotta say the mozza sticks were the best I ever had !

I wanted just a burger... Wasn't on the menu, so I asked my server if they could substitute a side salad for the fries. No can do. $4.00 upcharge. I declined and had the fries packaged to-go. Burger was ok. It was hard to eat because they cut it in half. Apparently that's a thing?
Great place for a drink and live music! If you like Old timey Pub then this is the place for you. Students take over during power hours but I don’t blame them! The service is great and I enjoy the look of the place! Hopefully they finish the basement soon 🍻

The food was terrible! We had the fish and chips. Fish was battered and really overcooked. The fries tasted like they were yesterday’s reheated. The music was ok. I would not recommend this place if you are visiting Halifax. Many places with better music and way better food!

We went on a Tuesday for the wing and beer combo. I got the honey garlic wings with a side of jalapeño lime sauce, and they were decent. However, my friend's crispy garlic parmesan wings were completely burnt. The live music was a nice touch and made up for the otherwise dated ambience
