**edit we just ordered delivery and omg it is the same**Probably the best pizza I've had in the 3 years I've been in NS. We were helped by Kim and Bobby Jo (I'm so sorry if I'm spelling that wrong!) Truly though, the flavour... I don't know if I can accurately describe how good it was! I thought about taking a picture after we'd finished it. (We got the New York 9")Two hours later my boyfriend turned to me and said "we should have ordered one for later, to take home!"

I was walking around in the pier, feeling sad because I didn't have a lobster roll. I was starving. (Well, very hungry) I saw the signs for Tomavino's and the promise of a lobster roll, and decided to give it a try. The pizza smell completely removed thoughts of lobster. It was such a perfect aroma of cheese and sauce, and the decor is made to look as though you're eating outside a two story Italian building. There is outdoor and indoor seating, and restrooms for customers. The pizza was delicious! Lots of cheese, a great sauce and good cook on the crust. The ice cream sandwich was served right from the freezer so it was hard ice cream, but very refreshing even on an October day. My server was very nice, and was actually the one to suggest the ice cream straight from the freezer so I wasn't eating a puddle after the pizza. It may not be what you think of when you're on a cruise port, but I definitely recommend the pizza!

A bit out of the way but well worth the detour. My husband and I each had an individual 9" pizza, the Palermo for my husband and the Ambrosia for me. We were moaning with pleasure after each bite! Generous quantities of fresh ingredients, the pizza crust was delicious, just the right thickness and tender/crisp. We picked up our bottle of wine and wine glasses at the counter, when we ordered; the pizzas were delivered to our table. The atmosphere was cozy, the service friendly and pleasant. There was only one guy doing all the work and he managed it all deftly, with a smile. He looked happy to be there and so were we!! Will return soon.

Just delicious food. We ordered online tonight and, because of a Christmas parade in the city, they called us to let us know the order would be delayed but we were OK with waiting. The order arrived immediately after the parade and it was fresh and hot. The pizzas were both delicious and with fresh and plentiful toppings. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Meh? We were there yesterday., weren't sure what to get. The waitress swore up and down that THE thing they're known for is the pizza. So, I tried it, and man, was it ever underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, it was ok, but the next time I'm in Halifax, I'm not searching this place out. If the Pizza is the signature, must try thing, and it's that mediocre, what does that say about the rest of the menu?

It’s a nice simple place located next to the Pier 21 area. The seating is beautiful with interiors reminding you of Italy(or I believe that’s the idea). Good spot to have a casual pizza dinner. (I believe on summer days they even have a patio)I ordered a 9-inch Milano and my friend got the Eos(Vegetarian). The cheese and the sauce were great with good amount of toppings. It’s not exactly your wood-fire oven Italian pizza but it’s also not your normal canadian style pizza crust. It’s somewhere in the middle and that pleasantly worked for both of us.It was served hot with melting cheese and slight amount of crunch, which makes for a great meal on a cold, windy night in Halifax.Definitely made a spot in my list of good-pizza spots in HRM.

Milano pizza was so delicious. It took 20 minutes to get ready which was fine .

So I ordered takeout and when I got there everyone was in the back having a good chat and I waited for at least 5 mins they finally came out when there was 3 of us in line. So I have never thrown away pizza before in my life until now. Con carne was terrible, everyone who tried it agreed and it went into the compost. The Hawaiian was mid at best. There are so many better options here in Halifax not sure how it's number one on trip advisor. Please don't be mislead. This place is what I would call a tourist trap, highly rated but terrible. If the owner does reply based on previous replies I have seen I expect the response to be spicy.

Horrible and rude service. Making there customers uncomfortable and not welcome. Spend your money somewhere else that deserves it more. Definitely not the “best pizza in Halifax”. ?

I waited for 5 minutes before someone came out from the back. They were busy laughing and smoking. It seemed like I was bothering them. I asked for ice for my Coke and was told there is none but that the Coke was cold. It was not. Pizza was so-so. The crust was not very crispy and the basil was incredibly bitter. I ended up pulling all the basil off the pizza as it was just not eatable with it on there.
