Always a good time at Toridori! I’ve only been there twice so far but the food’s always fresh (& not to mention delicious), and the service is great. The ambience is the perfect balance of vibrant and chic, while feeling charmingly secluded. It has a different vibe compared to other restaurants on the waterfront.

Great spot in Halifax with excellent food and a comfortable space. The wood ceiling looks like dragon scales makes the restaurant feel relaxed and cozy, and the pan-Asian menu—drawing inspiration from multiple regions rather than just one country—is awesome. The duck bao buns were especially good. Friendly service and a solid overall experience.

Food was fine, Asian fusion from all over asia. Could find Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese dishes. Kids loved it, was able to satisfy all age groups (6,13,16 year olds). Prices were fine too, family of 5 got us up to 240Cad, not bad for Halifax. Place is awesome, close to the waterfront and after meal you can enjoy the views. Waiter was pretty forgetful though, asked 2 questions and never got answers so had to end up with no desserts. Overall, not bad, but won't consider it a second go, good for one time visit.

The restaurant is beautiful. Lovely interior decoration. As well, the service is impeccable. For me, the food was good but not blown out of the water. I would say the Pho was lacking full flavour. The spring rolls were great and so were the buns. My drink, the tails, was quite full of ice and difficult to drink out of the straw.

Toridori has a fantastic atmosphere - the cieling tiles are very cool, and keep the music audible without being distracting from table conversation.
The service was similarly awesome. The staff came by often to check in, gave us a story about each dish and were very professional. You could tell that they were passionate about customer service.
The food was delicious and came fast. We tried basically all of the starters. Huge recc is the Bao - genuinely the best I've had. The spring rolls are awesome, too!
The drinks were great, I tried a few and the beer with soju.
If you like food, vibes and good service you should hit this place up!

Great food and amazing service. Strongly recommend! I would only recommend modifying the music, it was a little intense for a Tuesday night. I believe staff could participate in the music selection more. Thanks!

Cocktails and food were OK. We were quite disappointed that every one of our four cocktails was different than advertised on the menu, to the point that we had no idea what we were drinking. The dishes we ordered came out in an awkward order, our vegetable slaw arrived last when we were nearly finished our main dish. We were offered a complimentary dessert and the vegetable slaw was comped, which was appreciated. These were all annoying but funny, however when I went to the washroom at the end of the night, there was zero toilet paper available, even in the small cupboard inside the restroom. It was a poor finish to a mediocre night.

Tasty asian restaurant! This is definitely a place for a date or for going out with your friends. And the desserts are to die for!

All dishes were copious, flavorful, and with good presentation. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The main dishes were more than fine, but the jewel in the crown are the desserts! One of the best ice creams (burnt-rice) I've ever tried.

Service is alright, but it felt like we needed to call the waiter, instead of him coming naturally to us.

Me and my girlfriend got some appetizers and drinks. Wandered in here on a rainy day and fell in love! Cute little chopstick holders and the food was goooood. 😍 Pork Bao Buns, Popcorn Chicken with Kewpie Mayo, & Potstickers. ALL 10s.

It’s a quiet spot that has about 5-6 tables, I would definitely recommend this for a date or if you don’t enjoy noisy environments. I got the bibimbap and it was sooo good. The egg was perfect, the kimchi wasn’t too spicy, & the food was still hot by the time we went to leave! Overall, I would definitely come here again.
