Before I start I need to add that I’m Not a huge pizza fan but tonight because it’s Canada Day we decided not to cook and order 2 pizzas from uncle bucks. I’ll try to keep it short. -At 4:49 p.m. ordered 2 medium pizzas, very light on the sauce, 2 cups donair sauce, thin crust. -Called at 6:00 p.m. to see if Pizza was on its way. I was told that it was on its way. -6:20 P.M. 2 medium pizzas arrive. I asked the driver if the donair sauce was in box . He said yes. Hawaiian was correct the other pizza was suppose to have 5 toppings, came with 1 topping and no donair sauce was in pizza boxes. -Called and spoke to Tina (who was very nice) told her that my order was messed up. She said she would give me a $10 credit for the mistake. -Again when I opened the box it was suppose to be pepperoni, bacon, Italian sausage, green pepper, mushroom. -It had cheese and bacon. -I called back again and spoke to Tina (again she was very nice) -she said I’ll send you a new pizza with what you initially ordered, I said great I appreciate that. I asked if I could get the donair sauce that I paid for initially. She said sure. -Pizza arrived, I opened it and it wasn’t thin crust and it had tons of pizza sauce on it and No Doniar sauce again!
-I GIVE UP! Lol I tossed the two pizzas in the compost and made a sandwich.
Normally I get really great service, but tonight was bad! Bad! Bad! With the exception of Tina.
I know that in the grand scheme of things that it’s just a pizza but I just wanted what I ordered lol.

This used to be a place you could get good food. The last few trips have been exceptionally bad. We ordered this evening and the issues begin with the phone call. They answer the phone and says”uncle bucks, hold please”. And then the phone down. First off, you should get permission to place someone on hold. 2nd placing the phone on the counter so I can hear every conversation is not placing it on hold. When they come back there’s no thanks for being on hold.
On to the food. We ordered a large pizza and large garlic fingers. Both of them were thin and the dough was a very light brown, almost white on the bottom so under cooked. The pizza had beef topping on it along with a few others, and there was not a lot of beef on the pizza.
The garlic fingers were a whole other level of bad. They were thin, little cheese, and over half of them were hard and tasteless. We couldn’t eat a lot of them.
We’ve been a customer here for over 20,years, but lately the food has left a lot to be desired.

I love Uncle Bucks/Tanners! I have had better pizza/sandwiches, but not at the price. The food is pretty great, and everyone there is awesome to deal with. I was in there the other day, and it made me want to move to Spryfield. It just reminds me of what living in Nova Scotia used to be like.

Hey guys... Remember when we used to get Donairs as a kid that were so awesome? These guys sell it! It's the exact same thing. Absolutely amazing. We only order from these guys now in Halifax because they never let us down. Always the same consistent awesome food.

Food is not like the Halifax location that I remember😔. They were our favourite and we were so excited to try after moving 2 years ago and now being able supporting this location . Also have tried to get a slice on 3 different occasions, different days of the week and times of evening and they have only ever had meat livers available. Guess I’m sticking with Randy’s.

Thought we would try this new pizza location, phoned in our order and they Said 15 min . I went to the location and they asked for my order and I told them and they said "7 min its in the oven " Then 10 min later they asked for my order again because they forgot to make it . Our first and last time for this place !! This was the new one on Wyse Road cannot give a bad review for the other location as I have never been there.
It took over an hour and a half to get delivery. Never again. I'll stick with Zestys or Now We're Cookin.

You have to ask for Tartar sauce . Imagine you had to ask for a certain sauce for your fish When you call an ask them , they tell you that you had to ask for it. After I spent $50 on 1 meal for myself.

I ordered a fish and chips for pickup but to my surprise I get home and there was no tarter sauce. so I went back for tarter sauce. Was informed it's a dollar for tartar sauce. I told them to return my money and they did. I guess it's cheaper for them to throw out food than to include tarter sauce. Oh, and the sign above their restaurant belongs to another restaurant and a sign above that other restaurant is the signe for their restaurant kinda confusing.

Ordered two donairs and a poutine. The donairs came out fine but the poutine looks like it was stomped on. The fries weren't even in fry shape anymore, it was just mashed potato with poutine toppings. I didn't even leave it sitting around, they just came like that.
I've ordered here plenty of times previously and never had an issue. They're usually quite excellent so I'm unsure what happened here. Their typically good service and food makes this stand out a fair bit. Ordinarily the poutine has fries and is quite tasty, so hoping a later ordering of this goes better. This one went in the trash.
