The owners Bev and Tyler felt like family as soon as I walked in! Their service was exceptional, fast and friendly. I loved making my order on a little piece of paper. The whole experience and atmosphere felt like stepping into a time machine. The food portions were big, hot and fresh. I can't get over how good the gravy was...they said that they use a pickling spice in the original recipe that passed down from the first owners. All these little details are so important. I'm going to become a regular now!

A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home
West Cliff Restaurant is one of those rare places that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, in the best way possible. It's a charming little mom-and-pop shop run by the sweetest older couple who make you feel like family the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is cozy, wholesome, and full of heart. It honestly felt like I time-traveled to the good old days, where kindness, banter, and homemade meals still mattered.
They cook right in front of you while chatting and laughing with customers, and their smiles are just as comforting as the food. I had the daily special, soup, sandwich, fries, and rice pudding, all for just $10. Every bite was delicious and made with love. My daughter had the chicken fingers and fries, and even that was above and beyond, crispy, well-cooked, and full of flavor.
Dining here reminded me of eating at my grandparents’ house when I was little. It filled me with happiness and nostalgia. This place isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a warm hug for the soul. I can’t recommend it enough!

This place is a remnant of the diners of old. With a 14-seat counter and vintage memorabilia & and furniture, you'd think you stepped back in time. This restaurant was highly rated for years. It would appear that age is catching up. Depending on what you order, the food is decent to good, and the prices just can't be beaten. As for the service, well, you are treated like family here; you write down your order & take it to the cook, you grab your own drinks out of the fridge, and you chat with the owners like they've known you since you were kids. You have to experience it.
