“Great wine bar and restaurant recommended to us by curated food tours, I had the gnocchi which were absolutely spot on, it's one of my favourite childhood dishes, there is an excellent choice of wine by the glass we had the white Rioja.
It would have been 5 starts as the services as very good, the noise level was fine initially however the music was turned up twice, restaurants and bars are social places were people come to talk, music is fine it's just the level. I would go back“

“After an uncharacteristically unfortunate dining experience, Peacock was back in its stride as an exceptional dining spot. Our Sober Island oysters were luscious, burrato decadent, the doppio ravioli intensely flavourful and the trout fresh and done perfectly. “My husband and I came for dinner this evening. We barely ever go out anymore. We didn't have a reservation but we were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. Our server Janine was so friendly and accommodating. She was brilliant. She knew the wine selection down to the vintage of the bottles. She also knew where all the products sold were sourced. The approachable knowledge she displayed allowed us to make the best choice for our meal. The haddock is truly long line practiced and remains fresh. The chef clearly poured their heart and soul into the flavour and presentation. We were beyond impressed with the whole experience. Thank you so much. We will be back for sure.“

“We went for an anniversary dinner and it was spectacular. We ordered the scallops and pork belly appetizers and they were both amazing. The scallops were cooked to absolute perfection and the pork belly was so tender and flavourful with a pear sauce that is unmatched. For our mains we ordered the tuna and the short rib and they were both over the top. This restaurant offers fine dinning without a pretentious atmosphere. Very comfortable little restaurant and some of the best food I’ve ever had! All in (before tip) and after tax our dinner cost $130CA including two drinks, two appetizers and two entrees. Will definitely be back!!“

“We had our small wedding group here for dinner post ceremony. It was the perfect space (the Rhino room) and fit all 27 of us. Booking was easy, the staff and food was fantastic and delicious. And they were so accommodating to our guests with allergies. Cannot recommend it enough!“

“If you would like an amazing culinary experience then you should definitely try the Barrington Steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty. The staff were absolutely incredible. The host, the server, the bartender were all so great and made our dinning experience unforgettable. The food though, was definitely where the term “chef’s kiss” must have originated from. It was quite evident, that the chef takes pride in all of the dishes. The Beef Wellington well exceeded my expectations. Definitely 5 star rating!“
