I love the food from Yilan, it’s so authentic and delicious. Everything tastes really fresh and true to the traditional flavors. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving something genuine and tasty.

This hidden gem family run Chinese restaurant is amazing. Some of their dishes feature hand pulled noodles and it’s actually a really good example of Muslim Chinese cuisine food is very tasty and fresh.

These are best noodles I've had in Halifax. And I've eaten noodles like this in China, so I can say these are the real deal! Fresh, chewy noodles, great flavour, fast service, in a sweet family restaurant. What more could you ask for? I had the vegetarian chilli noodles. They were hot, but not too spicy, and so amazing! At least three vegetarian noodle flavours that I could see on the menu. Also gluten free options available!

A very friendly atmosphere with a set of delicious food

Absolutely beautiful energy in the air. You know that the food is going to be cooked with tender, love, and care. The dumplings and noodle dishes were very very tasty. The steamed buns had the perfect fluffiness to it. I recommend trying the tea egg as well!

Family friendly. Family run.
Traditional chinese food with hand made noodles and dumplings. Not a fast food chinese place.
The buns and dumplings are good. And so is the beef noodles, the meat is very tender and has good portion sizes.
And if you're muslim this place is halal!

Our group of 7 ate extremely well at this restaurant. The food is fresh, flavorful and they have big portion sizes. The family is also very inviting and friendly, with a Junior Chef giving us personalized recommendations and helping us order.

We ate and enjoyed the:
- beef green onion dumplings (fried)
- cumin handpulled noodles (beef)
- garlic sprout fried beef
- fried beef strips & more

The restaurant vibe is also very nice, with children's art posted inside. We will definitely come to eat here again when we return.
