Our family dined at this fabulous restaurant a number of times and what a truly amazing experience it was. The food, the atmosphere, the service was excellent. They treat every customer as special. We definitely will be back to enjoy their wonderful food. We order online as well, prompt delivery - awesome.

Even their water tastes good. It tasted like it had fruit soaked in it.
Diamond bento is yum and great for its price.
The miso soup tasted different the last time we went compared to other times.
Their free sesame roll and ice cream are good too. I’d go for chocolate flavor next time. Banana tastes like the banana flavoring.
I didn’t like the fried banana. It’s too mushy. Plantain would have been better than cavendish.
I tried a salmon dish and didn’t expect it to have a skin on. Salmon skin, I think, is always fishy and the fishy aftertaste lasts long.
They always offer free candies before you leave. They have them on the counter as well but being offered is a nice gesture.
You’ll always feel welcome and well received here. Totally opposite from the other Japanese restaurant in the area.

I can't stop eating here the prices are amazing.. honestly instead of groceries I just come here to eat.. I get to go out on the town, it's close enough that I can people watch, and everybody is just so darn friendly.. the food is absolutely perfect and I haven't had a bad recommendation yet

Lovely place! We got to Halifax late, we found the restaurant 10 minutes before it closed and they prepared our take out in no time and with care, I was served with smiles ! The food was delicious, I didn't give 5 stars because the tempura bits in the spicy tuna roll ( favorite roll) threw off the texture for me a little bit, instead of a smoot, tender bite, it made it feel dry even with the extra spicy mayo! I would've probably liked it more if the tempura bits were a bit bigger, the crunchy factor can always be appreciated, then again it's a personal preference! I highly recommend and will definitely go back when I visit again to try the rest of the menu 😁 Definitely memorable

Great staff! We booked a table for seven, and when we arrived, everything was perfectly prepared for us. They were attentive to one of us who wasn’t comfortable using chopsticks and thoughtfully made a tong using a napkin and chopsticks for her. It was a very thoughtful and pleasant gesture! It's,kind of small place, so if you're a group of people you'll need not to be loud..
