A lovely spot in the middle of nowhere. Amazing views and incredibly nice people. We did both dinner and the buffet breakfast the next day. The people were immensely friendly and welcoming both times.

The food was great, with the veg fried rice acting as an incredibly hearty vegetarian dish.

Convenient if you're staying at knotty pine as you don't have to drive anywhere. Dinner highlight were the beef dumplings, delicious, fresh and authentic. The teriyaki fish was disappointing, plain white fish, white rice, a piece of overcooked broccoli and some store bought teriyaki sauce. We had to wait about 40 minutes for our food. Seemed to be quicker for takeout. The blueberry creme brulee they offered for dessert was delicious though - recommend!
Place also offers a breakfast buffet mostly cold items plus eggs and home fries. $15 per person if you're staying there otherwise $20. No a la carte for breakfast - they need to delete the old menus from Google. Breakfast chef was super friendly and accommodating. Would be better if they opened earlier from 7am. It was fine and convenient otherwise but more cost effective to buy some breakfast items and use the microwave and electric kettle in your cabin.

You will not be disappointed you stopped here! Food is outstanding, the staff are super friendly and genuinely interested in you, not just pretending to get a good tip, and the views out the dining room window WOW! A rustic dining gem, we loved it and cannot recommend enough. 🙂

A cute little hideaway with amazing views. Their bowl of seafood chowder was enormous and very delicious and filling with great biscuits to dip in it too. The mussels were steamed and they had their own delightful buttery sauce. Great selection of ciders, wines and beers. Very friendly and efficient service.

We waited over an hour after we ordered our food and were told it would be at least 20 minutes more - they hadn't even begun on our order (veggie fried rice, mussels, and sweet potato fries) at that point. They give priority to the take-out customers over the sit-down customers. The food could be good, but we don't know. We walked out and went to another restaurant.

Waited for our food for 1 hour 20 minutes when the place was not busy. After all the wait my dish was incomplete (mussels were without sauce).

This restaurant is fine for the buffet breakfast. The food we ordered for dinner was truly terrible. The garden salad was fine.

We all thoroughly enjoyed this deceivingly big and totally charming restaurant. Brian had us laughing the entire time and we met other nice people we ran into again further along our trip. Will definitely return if ever back this way.

Don’t order the scallops and fries, it’s literally 5 frozen scallops being pan fried with very little sweet potato fries, wish I had taken a picture of it, it’s such a ridiculous rip off. Oh and you have to be ok waiting long time for a simple dish.
