I found myself, as someone who doesn't care for seafood, on a trip with my family to Maritime Canada. On Cape Breton Island, we discovered the Main Street Restaurant. While my wife and son delighted in their enticing-even-for-me seafood chowder, I surveyed the plate in front of me. We ate here 3 times during our 5-day stay--breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner were great. We loved the burgers. My husband liked his breakfast. I had the avocado toast and I think there were some bad spots in the avocado and so some of it didn't taste so good. The servers were all friendly and attentive. The place was bright and clean, but a little chilly. I had to keep my outer layer on, until I got something hot to drink.
