Sugar Witch Cakes

I was really hoping that Facebook was right and that you were open.I tried to find you on Sathrday July 28,.We found the house but no "OPEN" sign, no lights on, blinds closed, looked as if no one was home.? next time...I text first.

Got an assortment of brownies, cookies and scones. All were delicious!

Dare I say some of, if not the, best cupcakes I’ve ever had. The consistency and flavour were incredible. The homemade icing was the best I’ve ever had. Whatever recipe is being used is spot on. Couldn’t recommend Sugar Witch enough

Discovered Sugar Witch on our vacation through Cape Breton Highlands. Had to stop again on our way out of town. Everything we tried was wonderful!!

We stopped at Sugar Witch on our way through Ingonish. We bought a half dozen of the most delicious cupcakes! Fantastic buttercream icing! Good things are baked out of small places!

Sara made a beautiful 3 tiered naked icing cake for our wedding and it was delicious! The cupcakes to go with it were also great ☺️. We definitely recommend Sara for your wedding dessert needs!

Sugar is the most powerful witch in town now with it's spellbinding sweets.Sugar Witch is a small bakery / custom cake shop in Ingonish that, against all double double toil and trouble odds, has an amazing (albeit limited) array of sweets that will leave you bewitched. We stopped by on our way to the beach and got:- Cupcakes: SW puts the CAKE in cupcake. These were like mini chocolate cakes in their heft, moist-ness, and flavour. The different icing/toppings make you want to try the next one andbthe next one and the next one...- Ginger Date Cake: Apparently a twist to a local delicacy. Strong ginger flavour, hints of date, very generous use of molasses as there was a sticky moistness to it. I loved it.The owner (and chief baker) is super nice and very passionate about her craft. Sugar Witch is open all year, so whatever the season is, try to stop by!

Found the name intriguing, so we drove in one day to see - and wow! I personally am not big on sweets (my kids are) but I was blown away by how good the cupcakes we bought were. Since the first trip, we've been there pretty much every time we pass through Ingonish - and she has yet to disappoint!
