Incredible location, restaurant was good but rooms dated and expensive for what you get.
We had a lovely meal at the Arduaine restaurant lounge, which adjoins the main dining area (same menu) and features nightly performances by local musicians. Highly recommend for a great meal + entertainment. We had the pleasure of hearing Colin Gillis, a really talented singer/songwriter, and it was a fabulous experience all around. Located right off the water, it is nestled into the Keltic Lodge, making it a great place to eat and enjoy the scenery. Guests appreciate the friendly and efficient service, although some reviews mention mixed experiences, such as tough shrimp and cold prime rib during a Thanksgiving buffet. Highlights of the dinner menu include the massive portion of Fish and Chips, the fabulous Linguine Primaveras, expertly seasoned and moist Parmesan crusted salmon, and flavorful lobster baked ziti. The restaurant features a limited but decent selection of vegetarian options, a great kids menu, and attentive staff. Diners can enjoy live music for six hours each night, although this is only in the separate lounge area, while the restaurant has a quieter atmosphere with elevator music. With a lovely patio for outdoor dining and plenty of parking, The Arduaine is worth a visit for those staying in the area.
