Delicious gluten free options~ like the chowder, and grilled haddock plate, burgers & club sandwich--- didnt get sick once this summer while eating here regularly! Loved the cozy vibe of this restaurant, and the 3 sisters who cook the food! 💖🕊

Ordered a seafood chowder. First impression was how bad it smelled I only was able to eat a couple bites and the taste was awful and rotten tasting. Fast forward to a couple hours later and bang food poisoning. Thanks for the awful chowder definitely wasn’t worth the $100 we spent

Great food but service was not so good. Served an off beer first of all which was changed when we asked.
In the middle of eating dinner was asked would we like dessert?
Still eating dinner then asked again would we like dessert and how we would like to pay.
The restaurant was not busy so they weren’t waiting for the table. Such a pity as the food was good but very rushed experience.

This unassuming looking restaurant is a hidden jewel! Our absolute favorite is to eat fish or seafood while looking over the water. The Seagull is exactly that! Plus, the food is delicious! We had many lobster rolls during our week on Cape Breton Island, but these were the absolute best! We were able to get window seats on the porch both times and what a view! After the first meal, we ended up arranging our trip to come there for lunch two days later. The servers are super nice and very efficient. We'll remember this restaurant for a LONG time!

Incredible view from the patio and probably the best lobster roll we had the whole time in Cape Breton.

Fantastic service. What a beauty view overlooking the ocean!!

We all had large portions, great seafood -mussels, chowder, lobster, scallops - also had Alfredo chicken linguine which was great.

The desserts were OVER THE TOP! So good! Only the coconut cream pie needed some work...a bit too much gelatin so it wasn't 'creamy'. The Ginger spice cake with caramel sauce was unreal! Same with the strawberry shortcake. Just like my grandma makes it! 😘So glad we stopped here.

Great spot overlooking the water! Be sure to snag a seat on their covered patio. Huge portions and the seafood is delicious. Servers were very kind and helpful.
