Food was wonderful. Fresh and cooked well. Best double cheese burger i have ate in a very long time. Poutine was as good as if it came from Quebec. We will be back to try breakfast.
Well this is one place I will never go back to! First one in first one to have order taken waited 1/2 watching everyone else get food all that was ordered was french toast eggs bacon and 2 chocolate milks. After watching the 5th person get there food that did it. Paid for my drinks and left and will never return totally unacceptable! Do better

S and J Diner is THE place to get breakfast in Kentville. Great food, great service, and great prices, too. The old fashioned diner atmosphere cannot be beaten. I'm there every Friday morning for breakfast and it never disappoints.

Table of 4. Seafood platter was delish! Turkey dinner with all the trimmings was delish! Club sandwich and turkey vegetable soup was delish! Server was nice, got everything right nice. The handwritten sign around the place like "please don't linger more than an hour" and "only pay with small bills" is a bit tacky though. Maybe a refesh on the esthetics would be good. Overall though, good little back road-y diner!

Stopped here while on vacation to Nova Scotia. The scallop burger and fish were delicious and very fairly priced!
