I’m so glad to have discovered Five Girls!Baguette was authentic and delicious (I grew up with Montreal baguettes.)Sourdough is fantastic- both white and whole grain. True sourdough taste and texture. This is the way bread should made - no unnecessary ingredients. Congratulations Five Girls and thank you!

Love the molasses bread, but selection is always super limited and rarely can find what I came in for. Some staff is super nice and others not so much.

Who would have thought that I could get unbromulated flour bread in Liverpool? Did I mention the homemade soups? And freshly baked scones? Yum, yum and yum!! If you like to eat healthy, you must stop here for clean food!

Very yummy sour dough:).

Great baked goods. We grabbed coffee at Main & Mersey and treats from Five Girls.

I just love their sourdough bread. It's the best! I buy it often and eat it every morning with eggs, delish! The French Baguettes are amazing too. The problem with the baguette is that it just doesn't last. It's gone the very first night. We love it. LOL!

My husband and I did a 600 mile tandem bike tour around Nova Scotia. As vegans I used Happy Cow extensively, in advance, to plan where we'd be able to eat on the trip. Note we are not hyper-strict vegans so a tiny bit of dairy in a baked item is OK when our options are limited. We raced into Liverpool hoping to make it to this vegan friendly store before they closed at 4. We got there at 3:45 and scored some homemade ginger carrot soup (delicious) and a vegan shepherds pie by Canadian woman-owned Boosh for dinner. Remember we're on a bicycle carrying our gear and most hotels don't have cooking facilities. This one had only a microwave. The shepherds pie says right on it to cook in an oven so the crust will be good. They're right that microwaving it was not great. But the flavor was good. We also got cinnamon rolls for breakfast the next morning as we needed to on our way before they opened.

As a new Liverpool vegan resident I was super happy to walk into this bakery and see so many vegan pantry staples I'm going to need in the future! Having all thier frozen alternative meat options was very comforting. Five girls bakery definitely is making my transition from a big city w numerous dietary options very easy! Also, amazing sourdough, love the crust!

Adorable little bakery and shop with a really nice owner. They have delicious sourdough bread that is vegan and did try selling vegan cookies for awhile but I think they weren't selling well so I don't think they have them anymore. Their store is filled with unique imported and local items. When I was in they had vegan cheese and meats including from Real Fake Meats. Lots of other goodies to be found.

Love to see they are now carrying a broad selection of grocery and specialty food items.
