I have been going to Hongs since early childhood, but most recently celebrated my post-wedding lunch there with my and my husband’s extended families. The food and the service have NEVER been anything short of perfection! We especially love the ginger beef, Hong’s chicken, stir fry duck, and Cantonese style egg noodles, but every dish we have tried has been delicious! Ginger squid and pepper squid so good. ginger beef and black pepper beef such a treat. When I come to Halifax to visit family from North Carolina Hongs is always on the list! Always a great meal!
Hongs dinner for 1 with sweet and sour chicken is like nothing I’ve tasted before. The sauce and flavour is absolutely amazing. The rice and veggies are fresh and non-greasy. Do yourself a favour and order it! I crave it constantly and I drive 2 hours for it lol
