We went here because we happened to find a parking spot right in front of it, but we wish we'd kept going. The food was awful - the fish cakes were this mash of chunks of potato and fish that were bland and a disgusting consistency, and the battered fish was so greasy that if you pressed the batter the oil would literally drip out. Even the fries were awful compared to other restaurants' fries in the area. The only reason we gave it two stars instead of one was because the service was decent. Not outstanding, but decent. What a waste of a great location on ridiculously expensive garbage food.

We had lunch on the deck overlooking the water. It was a busy day but the service was very quick, beer was cold and food was tasty. Great lunch experience.

Very bad service. Service was very slow, rude, and the server ignored us when we had trouble with our food.
Food was overpriced and the portion size was very small. The dining room is noisy and full of flies.
The servers were impolite with us during our visit, and made us really uncomfortable. Avoid this place.

Had there house salad. It was very good. Only complaint was that the chicken was dry. (Overcooked) I think this must be an ongoing problem as my sister had a chicken burger, it was also dry . The waitress was apologetic and said that she would mention it to the cook.

One of the Best Burgers I’ve Ever Had – A Must-Visit in Lunenburg!
Lunenburg is packed with amazing food options, but we’re so glad we chose to eat at The Grand Banker—it did not disappoint.
My wife and I started with the sweet potato fries, and they were fantastic—crispy, flavourful, and taken to the next level with that curry mayo.
She ordered the Lobster Roll and absolutely loved it—super fresh, packed with flavour, and exactly what you’d hope for this close to the ocean.
I went all in on the Lunenburger, and let me tell you—it’s easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, if not the best. It was absolutely loaded: a juicy, flavour-packed beef patty, crispy bacon, sweet and flaky lobster, fresh arugula, tasty aioli, and to top it all off—a bacon-wrapped scallop that was just the cherry on top. Every bite was next-level.
No wonder this place has won awards. From fresh seafood to creative pub fare, The Grand Banker delivers big on both quality and flavour. Highly recommend, especially for fellow burger lovers—you need to try the Lunenburger!

We had the absolute best experience yesterday. Courtney, our server went above and beyond for us. We were in Lunenberg for a wedding and the taxis were all booked up. Courtney went and got one of her coworkers Sydney to drive us to the wedding. We can’t wait to come back!! The club sandwich was also the best club sandwich we have ever had!
Had 3 meals there. Great food.
