The Old Fish Factory Restaurant is a historic spot with a bustling outdoor area and sturdy tables, offering ambience that harkens back to the days of the Bluenose schooner. The service is informative and attentive, with suggestions on drinks like IPAs. The seafood dip is a good starter, served with house tortilla chips. The lobster roll plate is decent, and a large lobster roll was enjoyed, along with massive fish and chips. The local scallops are delicious, and the service is prompt and enjoyable. The highlight is definitely the view overlooking Lunenburg harbour. The smash burger was great and the fish tacos were even better. Inside the fishery museum, it is very cool to see some of the exhibits. This is a great place to stop, with a kids menu and high chairs, plus easy access to the boardwalk and the ships.
