Absolutely amazing experience!
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the friendliest smiles and genuine warmth from the staff, they make you feel like family.
The service was fast, attentive, and full of good vibes.
hands down some of the best I’ve ever had! Fresh, flavourful, and perfectly seasoned, with each bite better than the last.
Can’t wait to come back

Stopped into this little gem this morning. What a wonderful place to eat. The service, food and atmosphere were perfection. My husband and I are going to make it a point to drive to Mahone Bay just for Eli +Trix breakfast dates! Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic homemade food! Simply delicious. We had the chowder and it came with a warm homemade biscuit. Lovely presentation. A bonus was live music on a Sunday lunch hour.

We drove from Halifax to go for a hike and then to Eli +Trix for a late lunch. We forgot that the scarecrow fest was happening. The servers explained that they were so busy and short on staff and had run out of quite a few items on the menu , which was understandable.
We had our eyes on the seafood chowder which they had plenty of . And WOW it was excellent . I was pleasantly surprised because I'm a chowder snob and you would think living in NS it wouldn't be difficult to find a good one , but it is!
This chowder had the perfect creamy consistency with so much flavor but not too salty and lots of chunky seafood including some lobster . The baked fluffy warm biscuit served with it was delicious! The staff were friendly , pleasant , and spoiled our dog with love and treats .
We will definitely be back to try out the dinner menu!

Horrible experience. Came down for scarecrow festival. Arrived there at 230pm and waited to be seated. Restaurant was maybe half full. Had 4 servers pass by without even a single acknowledge after waiting about 15min. Left and went somewhere else.

First of all the staff were wonderful! The breakfast sandwich was good but nothing fabulous. The coffee however was terrible. I have had better lattes in many places since being in Nova Scotia.
The atmosphere and interior decor is very much like a nightclub. So if that is what you are looking for then this spot is for you! Just not for me. But definitely not what you want for a breakfast. With all of the construction it is noisy to eat outside but there is lots of outside seating.
Not being from here, I was surprised to see that there was a patio jutting out over the sidewalk. This seemed very uncomfortable given the narrowness of the road.

I had never heard of Eli & Trix and after shoe shopping wanted a bite to eat. Any of the restaurants I am familiar were full or closed. I was not disappointed with this lovely gem. I ordered a cup of the seafood chowder, which came with a lovely homemade biscuit, and a side Caesar salad.
The chowder was amazing! It contained plenty of fresh seafood, and the broth was creamy, rich, and full of flavour. I should have ordered the bowl! The salad was fresh, and it was a good accompaniment to the chowder. The waiter was efficient and very friendly.
I highly recommend Eli & Trix. Choose the chowder!

Wow. There are a lot of negative and very personal reviews here. I do not want to pile on but I want to let the owner know about the horrible experience we had ordering the Orange Whiskey Pork Belly Lollipops. I sincerely hope my review is taken as honest feedback. Our dish came smothered in blueberry sauce (unexpected), so it was difficult to really see the meat itself. We dug in with enthusiasm and I managed to eat almost two pieces before I had to spit out the mouthful. My partner had one bite. The pork fat, which should be sizzling and crisped, was instead a disgusting texture. The centre of each piece was COLD. It felt like eating raw bacon. To credit the staff, they refunded our dish and apologized, noting that the blueberry sauce was not the normal presentation. I would not have written this review if we hadn’t both gotten sick later that night and the next morning. I will spare you the details, however, it was not pleasant. We were there on Thursday, August 21, at 4pm. I feel that a chef should know how to properly and safely cook pork. Thanks for listening and I hope this is somehow helpful.

Fish very good.
Caesar salad exceptional.
Shoestring fries were awful. Need to offer real chips with fish and chips.
Smash burger very good.
Athena was great. Male waiter was odd!

The small delights of being home in Nova Scotia, real butter on delicious toast, local bacon, perfectly cooked eggs (probably local too) and hashbrowns! To top it off, great service.
