Fish and chips were done perfectly. Crispy batter, fresh fish, large portion, crispy fries, tasty coleslaw, healthy serving of tartar sauce and a big ol lemon wedge

I enjoy going to this place, the food is good, great atmosphere, friendly. We shared a club sandwich and fries, with beverages. BUT I have to stay away from there ketchup as the food came up faster then it went down. Bringing my Hines next time.

There are a lot of good restaurants in Mahone Bay and the surrounding areas… This is unfortunately, not one of them. It should be criminal to serve clearly frozen fish when you live this close to a fishing community, But when you’re already ordering frozen french fries it’s probably easier to get it all on one truck. Taking a peek into the kitchen and seeing multiple microwaves, should give you an indication of the food quality, but there are also some issues with cleanliness. The bathrooms are surprisingly, possibly clean however, the same cannot be said about the dining room. Spiderwebs covered the light fixtures and look like they had been successful in catching many small bugs. Our server was lovely, but clearly overworked, But based on my many years in restaurants, I do not think the problem lies at the front or back of house, but rather with ownership. When you bring in cheap product, and don’t offer shedule enough hours to clean and maintain the restaurant or do basic prep work you end up with cobwebs and microwaves.

All I can say is why put a ton of pepper on french fries ?? There was pepper on the table to add if I wanted 😔
The club sandwich and gravy was good ,
Don't know about the fries , I couldn't eat them.

Popped in for a pint and some dip. Quick visit but welcomed in and the service was great. Lots of beer to choose from. We had the spinach dip and it was great.

The fish chowder came luke warm so I sent it back to be heated. The chowder was very thin and without substance - one cube of potato and very little fish. I ordered a large which was in a very shallow dish with approximately 3/4 cup. The bread was cold and sparse. The fries were soft and mushy and the fish was okay. I would not recommend these two dishes. Try something else.
