If I could give more than the 5 stars I would . This was our first experience at the OH MY COD food truck located in the parking lot of Shore Cycle & Marine in Mahone Bay . WOW such an amazing experience . It was a beautiful day to go for a nice ride to capture the views of the fall colours quickly changing and we stumbled upon this food truck and said , let’s go give it a try . We are so glad that we did . Some of the best cooked fish and chips we have had since arriving on the East Coast almost 5 years ago . I had the 1pc fish and chips and my cod was massive , cooked to perfection with home cut fries salted with some flaked sea salt , with some homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce . Hubby had the Cod Burger and fries and it was also cooked to perfection . When I say cooked to perfection , the batter was cooked all the way through so that it was not raw on the inside (we find many places here struggle with that, but not these guys , they know what they are doing) Oh and with it being so gorgeous outside today , we took advantage of sitting in the outdoor seating area to enjoy our lunch . Not only was it a take out experience , we had the friendly atmosphere of the owners coming over and asking how it was tasting , not once but twice , that’s more service than you get in a restaurant . If you have not tried them out yet , you definitely need to before they close for the season . Oh and don’t forget the homemade cookies , cause those were also perfectly done . Well done friends , we will definitely be back .

I can't say enough about this place. Saw it on a YouTube short and had to try. Did not disappoint! THE FISH IS AMAZING!!! Epic staff and great nice seating area if the weathers nice. Worth a drive from halifax for.

Really good food, tacos are nice size portion and I recommend the sweet potato fries with the mayo dip. They also sell really good cookies that use real butter. Was also nice to take a look at the cool bikes at the store next door. Definitely worth a stop if visiting the area

Excellent fish and chips. Hugh pieces, the cod was very fresh. Great fresh cut fries and nice onion rings. The cookies were good too. They are a shipping container with outside tables. Great for guests with dogs. They had blankets you could borrow if you got cold. Super friendly.
This is a great spot to grab fish and chips (and much more)! My husband loved how they battered the fish, not too thick with an amazing crunch to it! I had the Brie grilled cheese it was delicious! We visited from Hamilton but if we ever make it out east again Oh My Cod is definitely on our list of places to eat at again!

The fish was fabulous and I would go back in a heartbeat. In fact I’m dreaming of my next visit. The fish batter so crispy and the fish was so fresh and the fries were also op notch. Highly recommend. I wish I would have taken picks as the 2 pieces were huge. I also regret not trying the cookies. Next time for sure.

Absolutely the best fish and chips that I have had in a long time! Fresh (haddock and cod) fish, thin and crispy batter with crispy, homemade chips. We also had their pulled pork, which was delicious! I loved what they have done with the area around the tables in front of the food truck! Thank you to the friendly and helpful staff! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Great food truck on our trip from Peggy’s Cove to Lunenburg. Quality of the food was outstanding, fish was crisped to perfection with just a dusting of batter. The lobster roll on a butter croissant was out of the world! Pricey, but loaded with lobster and love. Sounds like the locals made sure they had a place to run the food truck when their physical location closed, and we are glad they did - hard to find good quality food and this was it! Easy to stop, no frills, but quaint and clean.
