This place is amazing! My cup of tea.

A wonderful place to sit and enjoy a perfect, full-bodied coffee. Being a decaf coffee drinker, it's sometimes hard to find a really great cup of coffee. Spill the Tea gets a double thumbs up from me for a superb cup of coffee. The decor has the most fascinating collection of tea pots and other gifts for the tea and coffee lovers in your life. I just wish that I lived closer, as I would make it my daily place to go for my coffee.
P.S. Not only is Spill the Tea a wonderful place, the owner is a very friendly and easy to talk with.

What a wonderful place! The number of tea varieties is frankly staggering. The decor is warm and whimsical, a word not used often enough, and if you fall in love with a teapot, you can buy it and make it yours… but NOT the octopus! That one’s mine when we get back there!
Someone complained about the coffee?! It’s made with a terrific Jura machine you can watch avidly as your coffee streams out. The standard is a French roast bean, bracing for the coffee weak of heart. Tame it with cream and sugar or strap on your Viking and drink it black! We plan to sample others in the future with some of the delicious blueberry scones or chocolate dipped cookies.
Overall, a fabulous stop in between knick knack haggling and highly recommended!

Beautiful ambiance from the lovely music, the awesome selection of over 100 teas and so many other products. Seating inside or outside. You always meet great people too. Your hosts Deane and Amy, are the best. If you have time to make one stop in Mahone Bay, make it here.

From the second you step into Spill the Tea in Home Bay, nostalgia hits like a warm hug-poetic vibes everywhere, begging you to sit, sip, and scribble your soul onto paper. The staff? Total rockstars-smiling, genuinely happy to chat and mix teas like they're scientists mixing up magic. You're surrounded by artful displays of teacups, teapots, endless tea blends, and assortments of unique items for any tea lover-from packaged teas and my go-to blueberry fog, to rare spices, fragrant curries, and killer food treats you won't find anywhere else. Everything sparkles like it's enchanted, the music hums just right, that new logo draws me in like a savoring sip. And leaving? Pure bliss-I always grin spotting the mermaid tucked among the trees. Every visit leaves me inspired-can't wait to go back!

My wife and I love coming here for afternoon tea. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, combined with an absolutely incredible tea selection, make this place a must visit when in the area.

Can't wait for our next tea session!

Haven’t been to Mahone Bay since I was a little girl, and this place had such character and charm! Amy gave us some great advice on which tea to drink we had a lovely conversation with her about how her husband and her acquired this beautiful spot and I even bought a tin of the licorice and Peppermint! Amy you were right…the longer you steep the sweeter it is! It’s better than I’ve had anywhere! (They serve coffee as well.)

Great little Nick nacks souvenirs natural oils foods etc, seating inside and out.
Even the Bathroom was pristine!

Highly recommend for a great little pit stop for your travels

Great place to sit and have a drink. Good little patio, good service.

I think the obvious choice here is to get tea, I wouldn’t recommend the coffee, definitely not a good coffee place. I’m not a tea person myself, so didn’t get any tea, but can’t blame a tea place for having bad coffee, although I do wish it was a bit better. Tasted like it might have been one of the capsule coffee makers or nespresso.

Mahone Bay doesn’t kid around with charm and hospitality and this lovely tea shop fits right in. High quality leaves that satisfy even tea snobs like me and they ship quickly for when I’m not on the South Shore. I sip their lavender cream Earl Grey and vanilla rooibos with my eyes closed, sighing insufferably like I’m auditioning to play the lady of the house in a period piece. And it makes my morning.

Very friendly staff with a nice selection of items including some really unique cups, saucers, tea pots and water bottles. I keep going back for the baked goods, though :)

A true delight!!! Fantastic teas, so many I wanted but didn't have room to cram in my vehicle on a road trip. Such friendly and helpful staff. Can't wait to come back home to NS fagain or another visit to this place.
