Darby's Old Church Kitchen

Had the Darby Burger and it was the the best burger i have ever eaten, and i hear everything else is very good also. I had i cold Kieths in a chilled glass, it was well deserved after working all day in the heat. You definately need to try it.

Excellent food..the pie is the best.

We came up to Cape Breton to spend a few days enjoying the museums and scenery. Happened upon Darby's by chance and ate there two nights in a row - we were too full for pie the first night so had to go back! The food was delicious and the homemade pie was scrumptious! If I am ever back this way I know just where I am going to eat!

Darby 's is in the basement of a former church and it's fun/ quirky ? The service was fast, courteous and pricing is good. And the food was great. Retro tables or booths. Thanks ladies.

We stopped in today on our way back to the city and the food was 10/10! Everything was delicious. The staff were wonderful! We love the nostalgic feel of the place. We got desserts to go and the chocolate cake was the best I’ve had! Just like your grandmother used to make it 😊

Food is good, ordered fish & chips and it was amazing. Service was awesome, people there are so kind and the wait time wasnt that bad either. There's a graveyard in case you don't make it out alive btw. 🌚

Service and atmosphere were good but food is not tasty for me (sorry about that). Potatoes fries you can not screw up (made from great local potatoes), but everything else can be made much better.

Our first time to visit and the food was great. I had fish and chips that I ended up getting half to take home (the portions were so generous). Everyone else had the burger specials and raved about them. I didn't think these types of places existed anymore but I'm so glad we went.
