“We stayed at the Iona heights inn and the pub was right on the premises. They had a live band on Canada day! Honestly did not have much expectations but the food was hearty and overall delicious. The chicken penne with indian curry sauce was tasty, had the masala powder flavor. The tomato soup was hot and yummy. The steak and cheddar cheese on a toast was also very good! There could be less bbq sauce on the toast.
We also had the continental buffer breakfast here. It was $13 pp but they did have quite some options.
Overall, great spot!”

“I hate myself for not bringing my cell to take photos BUT.. what we ordered was beautiful. I think they r called seafood cakes not sure but 2 cakes, good size excellent! And the berry spinach salade with pine nuts I believe, OMG! Seafood fettuccine, light full of seafood great and the focaccia bread tasty.
If u r in Cape Breton go to this restaurant. The server Guiness(sorry if I spelled it wrong) so nice and the hostess such an elegant woman. Beautiful site inside and outdoor.”
