This place is a bit of a drive from Dartmouth, but if you are looking for good fish and chips, at a reasonable price, this is well worth it. The fries are thinner than I like but they were done well and I enjoyed them. The fish were large pieces, lightly battered and cooked to perfection. They have other menu items which I would not hesitate to try based on my experience there.

Had Brunch (if you can calm it that) here today. Was reading all reviews and hmmm....I thought I should try this place for a brunch some day.......Boy did I make a mistake. This restaurant is disgusting ????. The dead flies are everywhere, don't think the floor has been swept this year. And the window sill had dead bugs and creepy crawlers. Now, the food....bland bland and bland the bacon was refried and congealed with grease, and sausage was deep fried. Everything tasted the same couldn't distinguish anything. If I could give minus 5 stars I would......my opinion someone should call the health department hmmmm maybe I will.See pictures....????

Came here today and had the mega cone. You.must.try.it! Five backs gets you 4 gigantic scoops of chapmans ice cream. What a lovely store, we got cheese cake as well and it is delish! We can’t wait to come for lunch. It was a great time!

Sadly,I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the store. I am all about supporting local business but we went there to have supper. My daughter loves the poutine. I couldn't order any food for myself, I understand that the store is very busy but a good cleaning at least once a week would make the store more appealing.

First time here with my girlfriend and we had to wait half an hour for grilled cheese. Yes. I would like to note there was only one order ahead of us. Nonetheless in my opinion grilled cheese should not take that long.Then there is the manager I suppose she is. In one word, rude. As stated we have never been here before and were just kind of wandering while we waited for or grilled cheese she snapped at us that we had to wait at a table OR go sit in our car. There was no signage to indicate nor were we told after we ordered.She was also exceptionally rude to the young lady working today.Also if you order ice cream order a small the portions are actually way too much.Skip.
Great store with essentials. Also food counter and very good food. Serve great fish every Friday. Staff is very friendly and community oriented

My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat Sunday early afternoon. We got a sandwich. It was acceptableBut, what was not acceptable was the HORRIBLE way that the "boss" or "manager" or whatever she calls herself was treating her young coworker. She was using very harsh tons and seems to be doing everything she could to humiliate the poor guy. I was so upset by the treatment the young man that I had to leave the restaurant.Untill the treatment of of that young man is improved. I will take my business elsewhere.
