Went 2 nights in a row because the Ginger Beef was so yummy & crispy the first night ... but unfortunately soggier & chewy the next night. Food is overall good and combo meals highly affordable and best value for a hot meal (you almost get the same amount of ginger beef in a $12 combo meal as you do in $16 order of it though). Service was Wonderful. Asian decor is lacking but it's Simple. Could use a few Artificial Plants to fill Voids in the Room and add some color...
It's funny how being away from the town you grew up in can affect your perception of places. For example, to me, China Boat is the "new" Chinese place in town, but it's been open for over seven years and isn't even the most recent Chinese restaurant in town to set up shop. I normally really don't like egg rolls, but the egg rolls here were absolutely delicious. If you're an egg roll sceptic like me, I recommend giving them a try. The fried wontons were also fantastic. I found the chow mein to be a little bland, but everything else was great.
The restaurant itself seems clean and well cared for, and the lady at the counter was friendly and personable....
