I run the open mic at this Dooly's, and I must say, nicest bunch of bartenders I have ever worked with. Some delicious cider options at the bar, and of course, great live music on Thursday nights ;)All around nice place to have a game of pool and a few drinks. Also, ask about their selection of board games behind the counter if that's your thing. They even have Cards Against Humanity lol
First time at a Dooly's. Seemed kind of run down and aged. There wasn't many people there (it was open mic night). The sound system for open mic seemed sub par (old shoty equipment) and was very crackly. Ambiant music was fine. Lots of pool tables, again aged, some had stains of who knows what on them. 3 stars because the bartender was great and very quick.
I've had a lot of fun at open mic over the last few months. I hope it continues, it's great to see so many positive faces come out to jam and have a great time. New Minas always needs more of this and Jesse has certainly catered to as many as he can.
