First I want to say the food was absolutely delicious and fresh!! I can definitely understand why they have the reputation they have! The customer service was top notch and even the lady who owns it is adorable and friendly!! Definitely my favourite food around!

This is their chicken fried rice. It looks nothing like the photo on the menu. I don't recommend eating there.
Edit: Also, the hygiene is poor. There were multiple hairs found in the food. It’s disgusting. How could anyone eat at this restaurant?

Food was very tasty and served hot. The strange thing was we were 5 people but each person was served individually. It was if cook made 1 dish and served it then the next etc.
We ordered too many items because it all sounded so good. We were not dissapointed by anything. Found some new favorites.

I don’t even know where to begin on the 7 different ways they have terrible customer service at The Purple Lotus Restaurant.
I ordered $97 worth of food, which was only that high because I gave them a 15% tip, because I’m not a jerk.
When I picked up my food, everything seemed fine. I got in my truck, and as I set my food on the seat next to me, everything fell out of the bag.
The paper bag was wet, and ripped through the white plastic bag. I don’t know if this is on purpose or if they’re really that inadequate at packing!!
Now, as I am about to post pictures of the mayhem that ensued, it’s actually heartless that they wouldn’t even give me a RAG to clean it up. I asked for a pail of water and a rag, and they lied to me, and said they didn’t have any rags in the back!!!
They could only give me paper towels. They tried to hand me one small, balled-up piece of paper towel!!
Obviously, knowing I have to go home to my husband, I asked for my money back, and they wouldn’t give it to me.
Then I called them and told them they need to pay me back or I’m taking them to court.
The owner told me that if I had a problem, I could call 911 in as snotty tone as she could muster!!!
I am good to people, and everybody who knows me knows I would never treat somebody like this.
We are absolutely disgusted, not just at the poor customer service but their lack and UTTER absence of humanity!!!
Especially since the waitress herself had even witnessed how bad it was and told me that, that does happen sometimes because it’s very hot.
I would like to add that the waitress was SO nice and this is not her fault, but the owner is a hateful person who clearly doesn’t care about other people, and cannot take accountability for her own mistake, as apparently she was the brain scientist who packed the food.
What a hateful, snotty FOUL PUTRID DEMONIC TROLL of a woman. Her karma is coming for her, and similar to my food I paid her for that went on the floor, her karma is something that she will not be able to swallow.

No atmosphere. Seems like mostly designed for take out. Food was middle of the road good. Fried Udon noodles dish advertised as hot had no spice at all and very heavy on the oyster sauce. Pad see ew was ok taste wise but they didn't use the right noodles and there was no complexity to the sauce. Spring rolls were from a box. It was a good one time thing but won't be stopping again when we pass by the area.

We had the wonton soup and sweet and sour soup. Please don't waste your time on these items at this resteraunt. The wonton soup was void of flavour and the wontons morsels of meat got lost in the dough. The sweet and sour soup had shrimp far to done and rubbery to consume. Try elsewhere for these items on the menu, you couldn't do worse.
The food was great and the prices went up since I last visited 2 years ago. The menu has some good lunch specials.

The food is exceptional but time and again the service is abrupt verging on rude. The service is a huge part of the dining out experience. They are falling way short in that dept.

I don’t want to drag these guys too bad but man, be careful when ordering takeout. I ordered on DoorDash and got there at the 45 minute ETA. I waited in there for an extra hour for it to be ready. They also cancelled 1/3 of my order as I sat there. The things we usually get are good (red curry, mango salad, basil noodles, veggie rolls) but my god, the pork buns were so bad. They must have microwaved them and they were so hard I couldn’t eat them. We usually have much better luck.
