“Since the pandemic started, there's been no dine-in at this restaurant and it remains that way. However, this guy tried to restrict his service to take out only before our province shut down all restaurants and bars. He got crucified by the Chinese community in Sydney, calling him racist, apparently you can be racist to your own race... Who knew? So I suspect that he is a no hurry to bring back in house dining in case another wave comes along, and he goes through the gauntlet again.

In my opinion, it's the best Chinese food in Sydney. The egg rolls are not gooey on the inside. I don't know how he does it but they're cooked perfectly, and flavourful. Great portions. Great prices.

My hope is that someday, I will read an apology in the caper and post, to the owners of this establishment; they tried to do the right thing long before the right thing was done.”

I’m all my years getting wraps from subway … she just blew everyone out of the water… best wrap I ever had and best wrapping job all time … haha … she was so pumped when I told her what a great job she did…. Cheers to Faith… she should get a raise !!!”

“Not fond of Robin's donuts..find them dry but love the coffee and my favorite is the ice tea with lemon slices and carrot cake but they sell out of the carrot cake so quickly...it's hard to get one in the afternoon/evening. Staff are awesome.”

I was on a work trip in upper Nova Scotia, tired, hungry, jet-lagged and dangerously close to eating a gas station granola bar… when I spotted a KFC. What I expected: standard fried chicken. What I got: crispy maritime magic.

The chicken? Juicy, golden perfection.
The gravy? Basically therapy in liquid form.
The vibes? Canadian politeness wrapped in 11 herbs and spices. Was this Kanadian Fried Chicken?!?!

I’ve had KFC in the U.S., but this was different—gentler, wiser, like the Colonel found inner peace somewhere along the Cabot Trail. These chickens weren’t just delicious—they were emotionally healing.

Would detour again. Would consider moving. 10/10.”

“I’m on Cape Breton with my two kids for vacation from Washington, DC. We’re staying in a remote area and came into town to buy groceries, and decided to pop in and try bubble tea. The kids have tried it before, but I hadn’t. The ladies made me a surprise drink. The whole experience was delightful. The hosts were friendly, the tea tasty and fun, and the store was so cute. I’d come again if I ever had the chance. It was just one small adventure on our holiday, but it was a real treat on a rainy day.”
