“This is our first visit. Staff was friendly and explained their non-coffee drink options. I was surprised how many choices, we went with the black berry spritzer. “Absolutely love this local cafe, bakery, breakfast/lunch spot. Soup and sandwiches are always excellent and so many freshly baked treats to choose from! I've been partial to the strawberry or caramel filled puff pastries. Great spot to connect to some wifi and get work done, while enjoying endless tea of coffee that comes with your lunch.”

“My husband found this place online and I was skeptical at first but tonight was the second time we picked up several dishes for takeout and WOW! Just like the first time we are completely and pleasantly surprised at how perfect it was. NO WORD OF A LIE, there was not a SINGLE grain of rice fallen on our plates from any of the dishes. The fish was fresh and the flavours were absolutely explosive. We will DEFINITELY be back. This is our #1 choice for local date night takeout. I’ve esten sushi in every major city in Canada (amd many in the US) and I was impressed with how much attention to detail this place gives. I really hope they last cause this place is going to be a key player in our order out routine!!! Thanks Sea Point! Keep up the good work! “Very quaint small campground right on the water! Beautiful views! Small sandy beach just perfect! Full services but only 20 amp hydro. Plenty of room for our 30ft 5th wheel. Close to Sydney and Glace Bay. Too bad we had rainy cold weather when we were here. Definitely a diamond in the rough. I’d call ahead to reserve in peak season. Cash or etrans only!”

“Best pizzeria style Pizza you will ever have. Lots of toppings and exclusively use Only HORYL'S Pepperoni and also have amazing Subs and Burgers, especially Steak Sub. Own homemade donair meat which makes a great pizza and both super donair (with cheese) and Regular donair all reasonably priced. Best part is 100% locally owned and operated for over 25years.”

“I have had burgers all over this country. Everywhere I go, I try the burgers to find the best ones. The sandbar has the best burgers I have ever had hands down. No other establishment compares to their burgers. Would highly recommend and will be returning every time I go to Nova Scotia.”

“Came here a bit ago with my boyfriend and ordered a butter chicken poutine. Would recommend greatly. Excellent service and they make their fries from scratch as well as cut their veggies by hand. I know all of this because I worked at the new yourk fries in Halifax but employees weren’t as friendly. Would definitely recommend over any family restaurant”

“Purchased dark fruitcake at Giant Tiger, Sherbrooke, Quebec: liked the taste better than others purchased, returned for more before Christmas but sold out. Wish known when they stocked them Christmas 2023.When 2024? I have my G-grandmother's dark fruit cake huge recipe, I no longer make so have been searching for a substitute for Pre-Cristmas 2024 onward = McFadgen's. Do other stores in Quebec (Eastern Townships)also carry McFadgen's- MAXI, reasonable priced stores ?”

“I have never had a meal that I didn't absolutely love. The steak is always cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The 'goodnight Irene' is another favorite. Our server tonight was fantastic. “My wife and I have eaten there several times recently and thought it to be great quality with very reasonable prices. Johnny the cook, prepares an excellent feast every time we have been there. Service was, all around,very good. My only suggestion would be to change the quality of the egg and spring rolls. As far as the atmosphere, Chinese restaurants are not historically about decor but I can say it has always been very clean on our visits. We are back there again in 2 weeks and expect Johnny to be once again on his game. We have been use to eating in Calgary’s Chinatown over the years and find this venue more than anadequate replacement.”
