Popcorn chicken always seems to not be deepfried long enough. Fries dont seem to be seasoned most times I get fries. Staff are really ignorant, always forgets my gravy. The only nice staff in the new waterford location is the new white girl working. Shes always cleaning and attending properly and respectfully to customers. All the other staff are usually standing around on their phones and speaking different languages which i find rude when customers are present.

I was on a work trip in upper Nova Scotia, tired, hungry, jet-lagged and dangerously close to eating a gas station granola bar… when I spotted a KFC. What I expected: standard fried chicken. What I got: crispy maritime magic.
The chicken? Juicy, golden perfection. The gravy? Basically therapy in liquid form. The vibes? Canadian politeness wrapped in 11 herbs and spices. Was this Kanadian Fried Chicken?!?!
I’ve had KFC in the U.S., but this was different—gentler, wiser, like the Colonel found inner peace somewhere along the Cabot Trail. These chickens weren’t just delicious—they were emotionally healing.
Would detour again. Would consider moving. 10/10.

Tasty food and quick service overall. The zinger burger was fresh and flavorful. Chicken popcorn was served cold — could be improved. Fried chicken was good but could’ve been crispier. Still a satisfying meal — will visit again!
Wife had to go to New Waterford to see a doctor. I remembered that there was a kfc there and hadn`t had it in years. 10 small pieces of chicken cost 30 bucks. What she brought home was really greasy soggy chicken. Thought I would try it in the air frier to crisp it up a bit. When I took the 4 pieces I had cooked out of the fryer I bet there were 3 tablespoons of grease in the bottom of the pan. I will never enter a kfc again. There was a time when it was good. What a disappointment.

I picked up KFC today. It was really expensive. 10 small pieces of chicken was 29.99. It was soggy and very greasy. My husband had to re-heat it in our air fryer to make it edible. The grease left in the fryer tray was appalling. This was the first time we have gone there and it will be the last.
