Annual BFF visit to our favourite winery Avondale Sky Winery & Restaurant for lunch and a very special wine pick up - the LAST 8 bottles of Drops of Amber which is my absolute favourite wine!

If you enjoy wine and supporting local, this place does not disappoint!

All wines (I’m not a red drinker and even enjoyed their red!), food (delicious lobster roll), owners (thanks so much Sean and mom!), and dog/professional crumb cleaner/trick performer (hello Vino!), are all fabulous!

So next time you are in the Windsor area, I highly recommend making a little pit stop and checking them out! ??

Although we have been here many times, it was the first time we were able to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio. What a lovely experience! I have to say, we are so lucky to have so many amazing wineries in Nova Scotia and Avondale Sky is one of my absolute favourites!

We spent an hour or two at this beautiful winery today. We shared a flight with an additional tasting glass. I love sweet whites and rose wine. The ones I tasted were exceptional with the Drops of Amber ( I believe that was what it was called) being my favorite. The staff were very kind, each member making sure we had great service. We also tried the build your own bruschetta board which was delicious. My hubby enjoyed several tasters of red. The setting is stunning. Cannot say enough about this beautiful place. We will be back. We will think of this beautiful place when we open a bottle we bought to share on a difficult day we are facing this month...here's to Avondale Sky Winery

Sean was very knowledgeable and we had a great experience tasting Avondale's wines. The notes were spot on and very helpful in finding what we liked. The wines themselves have great noes notes and were excellent.

What an amazing tasting experience! Sean was a lovely host, and Vino the dog was the cutest co-host.

The wines here are amazing. They totally broke the mould of what I thought I liked in a wine. I would have never thought to try the Drops of Amber wine, but now it's one of my favourites

Definitely make a visit here!

Great wine and very friendly people. The story of the main building which also is an old church is very unique.

Went to my first pick up party today as a newly member of the Sky Club and it was a blast! Amazing wines, great bites to pair with them and a warm reception from the owners, winemaker and staff. This is my favorite winery and today it exceeded all my expectations. Support local, family owned and simply amazing business ❤️

Truly a hidden gem, worth the visit.
My wife and I, happened to stop by while we were on our trip in Nova Scotia.
Avila and her team was kind enough to host us.
Loved the unique preparation of the mussels and the lobster roll.
To top it up was the wine, cherished every drop from that glass.
Couldn’t help but already placed an order online via the website.

Highly recommend visiting Avondale Sky?

Went there in August. This place is beautiful and the people there are so welcoming and helpful. I'm not much of a wine drinker but wanted to try their wine. The girls were so patient and talked with me and my boyfriend and figured out what wines would suit us best and she did a perfect job. All the wines we tried, tasted amazing.

Beautiful place, don't go hungry. Menu is a huge dissappointment. I had the charcuterie board and it was very scant. A few years ago it came with a little more. Not a place to feed the family. If you want to enjoy the atmosphere, drink a glass of wine and eat a few olives then its the place to go. I ended up filling up with there brown bread and paid my bill of $70. Another tourist trap in Nova Scotia
