We went for brunch and it's absolutely good. Ambience and serving also great. Definitely recommend to others as well.

My husband and I recently stopped in for supper, we had the pan fried haddock which was delicious, however I had a side Caesar salad which was so drenched in salad dressing I could not eat it. I mentioned this to my server and he did nothing about it so basically I was charged $35 for a piece of fish, & approximately one cup of Caesar salad, we were also charged the tax which I had to address, we won’t be returning, we’ve ate there in the past and never had any problems.

Overpriced.
Draught beer had no gas, completely flat.
Fish and chips a bit overpriced, good batter/fish ratio but no flavour. Chips not salted, bland.
Waiter kinda short worded and cold.

Draught beer was expired but I got a replacement with no charge......big dive bar atmosphere with few locals....I guess it get busy in high season

Food was pretty good and the place looked pretty nice with the pool tables and the sport jerseys all over the walls. Something I didn't really like was that my kid hamburger (I don't eat much) had no vegetables >:( but overall the place was awesome.

I didn't know the restaurant closed for the winter, so we ate at the pub side. The food was good, but it wasn't what I drove 2 hours for.

This place has gone way down hill in terms of the quality of food. Maybe their seafood is good? But our three dishes at my table were terrible. The "clubhouse" which is made with turkey by default unless specified otherwise, was made with processed chicken - gross. The chicken sandwich again was processed. My dish was the pesto chicken parm. No sign of any pesto and it was made with processed chicken and bacon bits and the garlic bread was just a piece of toast with garlic butter and that was all rock hard around the edges and my pasta was way over cooked, likely cooked and frozen and then unthawed to order, $25 bucks plus tax and tip for shitty pasta that my 12 year old could have made better. Way overpriced if you're going to serve crap for food. The atmosphere was also quite off putting the constant screaming coming from the kitchen was alarming at times.

The waiter is nice! But the lobster roll was the worst, i got to say 28 bucks for this lobster roll is a bit of hmmmmmm, I personally don't like it..
We also had the pasta, It was.... lame, the chicken was soft like tofu, and the pasta was way beyond Al Dante.
And, the bathroom was clogged and unusable....
Git to say the waiter was nice!

Great place to grab a quick bite. The food was plentiful, the staff was friendly and provides fast and great service. There was a stage and games, but I went for lunch so there were no performances going on. I would recommend this place!

We've only been there once and for lunch - we ordered basic fish and chips and were extremely disappointed. The coffee was not drinkable and we found out why when we tasted the water. The fish came so over cooked it was like fish jerky. I only ate chips and slaw. I've eaten over cooked fish before but this had to have been cooked earlier and cooked again when we ordered it. There is no way it was cooked to order.

We went there Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 around 6pm. The restaurant was pretty quiet at that time. It was myself, my wife, our daughter and my daughter's friend from Pakistan. We all agreed that the fries were cooked in old oil, my wife got the wrong order of fries but that was no big deal. The clubhouse I got tasted off, borderline rotten. I told the waitress I wasn't eating it and she didn't seem too concerned, she didn't offer to replace it. My biggest complaint was my daughter's friend never had a lobster roll or clubhouse before and she was really looking forward to it. I told her if you wanted to try a lobster roll, CB would be the best place. She ordered the lobster clubhouse and my wife asked if there would be bacon on it, the waitress said NO. Her friend cannot eat pork for religious reasons. She can't eat meat even if it has come in contact with pork. Anyway, the lobster clubhouse came with bacon even after specifically telling the waitress no pork. We asked if we could send it back for a new one. She came back within 3 minutes and she said it was all new. Really, she must think we're stupid. At the end of the meal, the power went out which I know, no-one can control other than NSP which is another story. Luckily I had cash but I refused to pay for my clubhouse. I called the manager a couple of days later and I said I was only calling to make him aware of the problems so he can discuss it with his staff. He was pretty abrupt, I said the turkey was off on my clubhouse and he said it was chicken, whatever it was, it was borderline rotten. Another restaurant trying to cheapen out with replacing turkey for chicken. He said the oil is replaced every third day. He had no comment on whether the lobster clubhouse was actually replaced or not. Overall really bad experience, we ALWAYS ate here when when we're in Cheticamp but not stepping a foot in there again.
