We were here a couple of times very late during Lobster Carnival. They were feeding throngs with their delicious slices. Best pizza I have had in DECADES, and fast! They were turning it out at a phenomenal rate - great crew! Lots of toppings, tasty sauce and cheese going right up to a finely rolled 1/4" thick rim at the edge. I’ve lived in Nova Scotia ten years now and had never tried a donair. I do not have an adventurous palate. A friend arrived from the US and my hubs spent the day driving us around Pictou County trying different Maritime foods and sampling several beaches. I’m 62 and have never ever tasted anything as delicious as the Acropole Donair. I’ve been drooling for another for over a week now…..

We ordered two pizzas, garlic fingers, a donair and a chicken caesar salad. The pizza was tasty. Very heavy on the cheese and lighter on other toppings, but the cheese blend was delicious. I’ve had donairs in three different provinces and this one could stand with the best of them. Generous donair sauce on the side. We would recommend this place and order from them again.
