Best breading ever on the fish! Crunch with every bite, and the hand cut fries were a perfect side.
Beautiful boutique/ gift shop on same premise. So worth the stop.

We loved this joint. From a truly exceptional meal (lobster wontons, big meaty mussels, delicious poutine), to the gracious and welcoming staff, to solid live music...probably our favorite stop in a week long bop around Cape Breton and surrounds...

Friendly service, great food. Best burger and fish and chips we had in a long time. Would recommend to anyone.

Alexis the server was excellent and warm and inviting. The chowder had smoked fish in it which gave a delightful flavour to the seafood chowder. The special was a chicken wrap with fries. The chicken had the consistency and flavour of old reheated chicken nuggets that was found in between couch cushions. The focaccia was made in house and tasty however the chicken and sauce were bland for seasoning except salt. Overall all the food is heavily salted. The amount of time waiting for the food was unreasonable as the two other tables had already been served when we arrived.

Great place, easy carefree atmosphere and excellent friendly service. Basic food items but very good and quick. And looks like live entertainment on certain days.

Pretty great experience, would definitely recommend. We all loved the food and the live piano player was a bonus. Only reason the service got 3 stars was because we were made to think that we were bothering her. She wasn't rude but just not that nice, no smiles, no conversation, nothing. Thankfully the food and atmosphere made up for it, and we all have bad days so nothing against the waitress.

Great food, great service but the live music was way too loud. Very difficult to chat while the music was being played and if we had of had hearing aids on, it would have been painful .

The service and food were outstanding! Very attentive and knowledgeable waitress. So happy to see that they have vegetarian options! We loved the red pepper & couscous burger and the Butternut squash soup! Did not expect this level of excellence on a sleepy Thanksgiving Monday!! Great job!

One of the best meals I had along the Cabot Trail! I ordered the fish and chips, except with the summer salad on the side instead of chips. Everything was delicious, and the view of the water enhanced the experience. Highly recommend.
