“Absolutely loved this restaurant! I didn’t know about it until I seen they were participating in burger wars. The freshness of the food felt like it was all local and tasted wonderful. I can wait to come back later in the summer and experience there outside seating.“

Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards Winery • $$$
11143 Evangeline Trail, Wolfville - 4.62 miles

“Sommelier approved, a true gem of the Annapolis Valley! Their certified biodynamic and organic viticulture translates to clean, beautiful, delicious terroir driven wines that represent the emerging (and exciting!) Nova Scotia wine region in an honest and sustainable way. (Especially their traditional method bubbly!)The staff are passionate, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about their specialty wines. Their new menu is EXCELLENT; well priced with high quality farm-to-table ingredients. Food portions are perfect. Not wasteful, nor gouging their guests. Five star review. A must stop if you're visiting the Wolfville area!“

Mercator Vineyards Winery • $$
88 Dyke Rd, Wolfville - 5.02 miles

“I have done a couple winery tours in Wolfville but this was the first time visiting Mercator Vineyards. The building is beautiful and very tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. They have a beautiful area upstairs for larger groups. The only downfall was the amount of each pour at the tasting. The amount of wine given for each wine tasting was SO much less than every other winery we visited, it definitely wasn’t an ounce. It appeared to be more like 1/4 an ounce. It was so obvious that a number of people in our tour made a comment about it. I’m not sure if the staff member was just a new employee, as he had mentioned he was a student at a university in the area? I’m not sure.. but other than that, it was a great visit!! Shoutout to the staff member from Newfoundland.. you’re awesome!!“
