“The food was outstanding. I focused on local items where possible. Oysters, that I eat with no trimmings, were fresh and tasty and perfect with Lightfoot and Wolfville sparkling rose.
Staff were efficient and friendly, most importantly, non-intrusive; reading the customer (me) perfectly. A great place to eat. Would thoroughly recommend whether you are local or a visitor. Well done you!“

“Among the better coffee spots in Halifax. Cappuccino was perfect and the sesame peanut butter cookie is a must have with coffee here. Not much seating here if you want a sit down coffee experience but it’s a good to go place for lunch break or to take to public gardens on a nice day“

“Stopped in with hubby and the doggies for lunch. Was thrilled we could have the dogs with us at the table on the patio and that there were water bowls provided. Service was a little slow and unfortunately our order got lost and it took a while to get our food. Kitchen tried to rush the meal to make up for the delay and our spinach dip was still cold in the middle. Overall the food was good and I would return to try the food again.“

“5 stars is not enough to say how amazing this place is... it's a place of many firsts for me and a place where I found many of my callings like astrology and tarot and honestly, without the world tea house, I wouldn't be the person I am today. The staff there welcome you with open arms and are always super knowledgeable. Also, the tea selection is incredible and all are delicious! 🥰“

“Locally sourced produce with an organic flair, food was solid.
We had the bruschetta to start and the salmon for main. Finished the meal with the apple tart.
The salmon was the highlight of the meal. The tart was undercooked and chewy not light and crispy.“

“Came upon Stillwell almost by accident. There were a lot of places to get a beer in the area but the Beergarden offered a unique and serene outdoor setting. The staff were great, the beers varied and delicious and the food options perfect. So glad we wandered by!“

“My friend's and I recently had lunch at La Piazza. The food was absolutely delicious, the service exemplary and the atmosphere is very cozy. The cheesecake is delicious but a tad over priced, as were all the deserts, in my opinion. All in all, a very nice experience and we will definitely be going back for our monthly Ladies Lunch.“

“I discovered this gem of a coffee shop while staying in Halifax over the weekend. Perfect coffee, friendly and professional staff, delicious pastries (my husband said it was the best croissant he’s had outside of Montreal!). The cafe was very spacious and I LOVED how much space there was in between tables so you can relax and enjoy your coffee in peace. 10/10! We will be back.“

“Since Covid I have very rarely been downtown and so today when I had the opportunity I went to my fave place and ordered the Pho GA and The lemon grass chicken Bahn-Mi. It was even better than I remembered! Lots of chicken, the yummy housemaid citrusy mayo and the bun which is absolutely amazing. The res chillies for me is what makes this so darn tasty - so thanks for that kind associate behind the counter who acccommodated my request!“

“Chilly day on the water front ...thanks to Becky and Alexa for the great latte to warm me up .The service was fast despite problems with the debit machine . I still miss the DG on Spring Garden Road ( hope they come back after the dig ends)but it is worth the walk . Love this cafe.“

“This was my first ever visit to Halifax, and everyone would tell me that I need to try the Donair in particular at this location. I do enjoy donairs, wraps, Shawarma, etc. so I was looking forward to try this. So in the end, I don’t think I was overwhelmed with excitement, but it was tasty to be sure. No my only grip is that I did an order a large. 😂 👍😎“
