“EDNA is fantastic! Absolutely delicious food - both the brunch and dinner menu - with friendly, helpful and attentive staff, despite the incredibly busy numbers. Cocktails are amazing, with unique, refined flavours. You will not be disappointed! It can get noisy, due to the folks who flock there for Sunday brunch, so a little extra sound-proofing might be nice, but it's great to see this a gem of a restaurant receive such a vibrant clientele!“

“Oh my God — where do I even start! Everything about this place is phenomenal. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with the warmest smile and such elegant gestures. The ambiance is so unique and inviting.We went for breakfast and it was an absolute delight! The banana bread was heavenly — the aroma and taste were just perfect. We tried the Egg Benny and the Beef Naan Wrap, and both were incredibly delicious. To top it all off, he even offered us a gut health drink after the meal — such a thoughtful touch!
Our hearts and stomachs were full. It’s truly overwhelming how amazing this place is. A must-try spot — we’re definitely coming back! ❤️“

“Third wave cafe. Barista (owner maybe?) was super knowledgeable and excited to share his craft. Pourover was on point and espresso was balanced. Cozy, maximalist atmosphere that outshines any of the trending minimalist cafes that seem to proliferate like crazy these days.“

“Stopped in with hubby and the doggies for lunch. Was thrilled we could have the dogs with us at the table on the patio and that there were water bowls provided. Service was a little slow and unfortunately our order got lost and it took a while to get our food. Kitchen tried to rush the meal to make up for the delay and our spinach dip was still cold in the middle. Overall the food was good and I would return to try the food again.“

“5 stars is not enough to say how amazing this place is... it's a place of many firsts for me and a place where I found many of my callings like astrology and tarot and honestly, without the world tea house, I wouldn't be the person I am today. The staff there welcome you with open arms and are always super knowledgeable. Also, the tea selection is incredible and all are delicious! 🥰“

“Our server was very helpful with directions about Halifax. She was not put out at all and seemed genuinely kind. She was prompt and attentive. The chicken wings were tasty, the margarita was far to sour, in my oppion. Very much an irish pub menu.“

“Large selection of teas, we took our steeped tea to go. You can buy loose tea and accessories etc. Also there was lots of stationary, stickers, and different craft items you would not see at a craft stores. It was pretty neat.“

“My friend's and I recently had lunch at La Piazza. The food was absolutely delicious, the service exemplary and the atmosphere is very cozy. The cheesecake is delicious but a tad over priced, as were all the deserts, in my opinion. All in all, a very nice experience and we will definitely be going back for our monthly Ladies Lunch.“

“Since Covid I have very rarely been downtown and so today when I had the opportunity I went to my fave place and ordered the Pho GA and The lemon grass chicken Bahn-Mi. It was even better than I remembered! Lots of chicken, the yummy housemaid citrusy mayo and the bun which is absolutely amazing. The res chillies for me is what makes this so darn tasty - so thanks for that kind associate behind the counter who acccommodated my request!“
“I discovered this gem of a coffee shop while staying in Halifax over the weekend. Perfect coffee, friendly and professional staff, delicious pastries (my husband said it was the best croissant he’s had outside of Montreal!). The cafe was very spacious and I LOVED how much space there was in between tables so you can relax and enjoy your coffee in peace. 10/10! We will be back.“

“Chilly day on the water front ...thanks to Becky and Alexa for the great latte to warm me up .The service was fast despite problems with the debit machine . I still miss the DG on Spring Garden Road ( hope they come back after the dig ends)but it is worth the walk . Love this cafe.“
