The food in Edna is simply wonderful. Tartar as a starter was good, and the two fish dishes we had were perfect: halibut cheek and char with a Sauce Vierge both perfectly balanced. Service was excellent as well. Only downside was how loud it was.
Absolutely excellent - small but creative menu and flawlessly executed. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Cozy atmosphere - chic without being pretentious. Great value compared to waterfront establishments. Hidden gem.
We went to EDNA due to the very positive reviews but felt that the experience didn’t quite live up to the (high) expectations. Some dishes were great (eg. tuna tartare starter) but others were lacking in flavour (eg. burrata starter) or were too biased towards a certain flavour (eg. too much smoke flavour in the clam bake and the pork tagliatelle).
