Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere!Coworkers and I stopped in for lunch. We are from out of town and chose this place because they had vegan options. I had the vegan hash with tofu and it was quite good! Coworkers had the fish tacos and smash burger and they really enjoyed their food! (I had to dock one star because the hash could have been crispy but I am nitpicking.)Our server was very friendly and the atmosphere had a relaxed vibe.I will add this place to my lift of vegan-friendly spots to eat in Halifax, as I return for work a few times a year.Vegetarian options: Vegan hash with tofu.

I went here for wine and appetizers. I had the best tuna tartare I've ever had in my life! It's my favorite spoke so I've had it at a lot of places over the years. Also the burrata toast was amazing and a very good portion. Finally I had steak tataki which was good but my least favorite of the three. Amazing service and ambiance! I can't wait to go back!

Our night unfortunately did not start the greatest, we had to grab a seat at the bar for about 20 minutes until our reserved table was available for us. I understand it is a small restaurant and we were a larger group (6 originally ended up being 8 lol). Not much fuss from the rest of the group thankfully either. Service was nothing short of fantastic, staff were very knowledgeable, and even though we were quite chatty (within ourselves), our server tried her best to keep her line of professionalism and not get annoyed by us. Cocktails were great, food was delicious. Definitely a spot I would bring my guests to. Thanks again!
Our server Kathy was fantastic, friendly , humorous and genuine. Our food was beautifully presented, delicious and well cooked. The crispy braised beef appetizer was a bit on the dry side but still had great flavor. The wine and cocktail list offered great variety and choices. I really enjoyed the Stay classy Non alcoholic IPA. I just wish the noise wasn't so loud and the seats were a bit further apart.

We had to get to a concert after dinner and our server was outstanding at advising what dishes would come out quickly, and serving us wine quickly; the food came out super quick, the server took our payment quick, all the while our server was so fun and gracious, the atmosphere was relaxed and indulgent, we didn't feeling rushed at all. Beautiful.

This place is a gem. My partner and I had dinner and drinks at Edna and couldn't get over firstly how warm and inviting the space and servers were and then how incredible the food was! Thoughtfully made drinks were a treat too. Highly recommend!
It was our first time here and it was a 10/10 experience. The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious! If you haven't tried this place yet, you must. It's a gem!!
I absolutely love when a restaurant exceeds my expectations, and this was the case with my dining experience at Edna. Our server, Haley, was attentive and knowledgeable about all our food and drink questions.The food was incredible! Every bite was so flavorful, excellently preseneted, and prepared. Major kudos to the chef. We will be back!

Great service from staff. Appetizer really good (steak tataki). Mains were disappointing. 50$ rib eye steak was very tough and fatty. The gnocchi (lamb shank argue) was bland/lacked flavor. Awesome drinks as always.

The food at our lunch was even better than I anticipated. The gnocchi was like little pillows of deliciousness! The cod burger was fresh and so good Desserts should definitely not be missed. Service was warm and friendly. A thoroughly great experience. Will definitely be back for dinner!

Such a bright lovely brunch spot! My favourite in the city. So glad they brought back brunch even though it is just the one day! Great menu, great ambience, great food and our service was AMAZING!

-Drinks were incredible -Charcuterie board was yummy. Apricot jam was really good. -Beats were yummy -Buratta was pretty yummy, but the one we had ~2 years ago was much better -Gnocchi with lamb ragu was disappointing. The dish came across bland and had too much anise. We had to add lots of salt, which is not something we want to do to a $30 dish. Would still recommend Edna to a friend. The last time we were there (two years ago), the meal was mind blowing!
